Have you decided what your plan will be for the new LLMP and LLSP process?

I have the following questions I am interested on how other people plan to proceed

Will you be selecting the rides that are LLSP prior to selecting the LLMP 3 selections?

Will you be making selections in order of the parks you will be going to or by doing certain parks first no matter when you will be going to that park?

Will you try to get certain must rides and complete your group of 3 selections after you select the must ride selection at various parks, or will you stick to making all 3 selections at the same time for each park?

If anyone has other questions about the selection process feel free to add it to the thread.

Thanks

I select on Aug 4th, so I will be looking at reports of those that selected before me and making adjustments.

As of now:
Will you be selecting the rides that are LLSP prior to selecting the LLMP 3 selections? LLMP first

Will you be making selections in order of the parks you will be going to or by doing certain parks first no matter when you will be going to that park? not in date order - doing Slinky & Tiana LLMP first, on the last days of my trip

Here's my question:

How many people in your party will be working on getting the LLMP/LLSP? I'm planning on at least 3 of us selecting LLMP/LLSP for different days of the trip. Each of us will have 3 different days to complete.

Our next trip is 7 nights Sat-Sat. We have hoppers.

Most likely we’ll buy 3 or 4 days of mLL and at least 1 sLL for GotG.

I’ll try to put these days more towards the start of the trip. I find that works well with upgrade purchases like LL/parties/AH because that limits guessing how much you’ll accomplish. By the end of the trip we can focus on whatever that advantage didn’t cover. But I’ll also take flow of the trip in choosing what days to buy LL.

Wow, so 9 days of LLMP for each person in your party, plus some single rides, gonna be pricey!

We will have 6 park days. I am thinking of doing both multi and single lightening lanes for all 6 days for the 4 of us.

I would rather overpay on our first use and not regret that we did not have it.
Depending on the cost I might cancel certain dining reservations for less expensive restaurants.

My biggest issue is I will be buying this for someone who hardly goes on any rides. And the rides she goes on really do not need this.

Same thing with our dining reservations. One of our party really does not eat much especially for what the meal costs.

Yes. I'm making the very big assumption that prices will not be significantly different. I don't know what my plans will be if all the prices jump by $10.

I look forward to your report before I select on August 8.

We will select either HS or Epcot first, depending on early reports. DD loves Remy and FEA, so we are hoping for same day availability for one if we get a 9 am LL for the other. We know that is probably unrealistic. DD has not decided whether to brave Slinky. If she wants to try, HS will probably be our first pick. We are probably skipping Tiana. We have hoppers, so we are also waiting to see if it works out to get our high demand PM ride ahead of time and then just take what is available in our AM park the day of. Or if we have to use the three we pre book before we can get them in other parks.

We are not getting LL for our arrival day at AK. We may try for avatar at close, or we might skip the whole land. We have never managed to get to AK on all our previous trips, so we are fine with a relaxed first day.

Since you will have park hoppers you will be able to book any attraction in your AM park or another park as soon as you tap in to your first LLMP selection.

Also a special note for all: Only Advanced LLMP reservations have Tiers 1 & 2. On the day of your visit all Tiers go away so you are able to make reservations for any attraction.

I've been wondering about this...but I'm going to ask about it in the other thread so I don't get off track here.

I had the same question and answered the same to the original question.
Not doing multi pass for AK or E. Doing SP for Guardians and FOP.

I wonder if people will find it better to not pre-book and just purchase the day of.

Pretty sure our plan will be to buy none of it. We'll get on what we can and if we don't, no big loss. We've been coming enough that I see no reason to worry about maximizing rides anymore and our kids are grown so they do their own thing. My DD22 is joining us for part of our next trip (rented a house). She will probably still buy MP but she's still not definite on all days, etc.

I'm still trying to figure out my plan. I was thinking of doing the single pass rides first, as those are the hot rides and I have a niece who hasn't done Tron yet, and Guardians is a must.

Don't plan on the multi pass for Animal Kingdom or Epcot, as there isn't enough value in them for me.

Here's what I'm thinking for my trip:
1. I'll grab LLSP rides first because those go fast.
2. I plan to make selections based on the parks I'll be visiting each day. So, if I'm going to Magic Kingdom first, I'll book those rides first.
3. For must-rides, I'll book them ASAP and then fill in the rest later, even if that means mixing parks.

The only SPLL I might consider is FOP at AK. That's because I don't feel AK needs MPLL to be successful and I could divert that money to saving time with FOP instead.

Other than that, we will do our usual, as we did with FP+. I am up right at 7am the day we can prebook. I'll prebook 3 rides for our entire stay.

I typically pick our first ride from 9-10, then 10-11 and 11-12. We sleep in a bit and get to our first ride toward the end of the window, near 10am. After we tap in we'll book another MPLL. Right after that first ride head to the next MPLL since we'll be already in the 10-11 window. Once tapped in book another MPLL. Then do a filler ride or two until 11 and tap in and then book another MPLL. Keep rolling more MPLL's if possible until lunch. After lunch we might do one more attraction and then head back to resort for a nap/recoup break. I book or modify MPLL's for returning late afternoon 4-5pm. (we typically eat 5-6pm) after dinner we roll from there with more MPLL's the rest of the night.

This all depends on if we can overlap time windows or not, so that my modify the plans but you get the idea.

I'm waiting to find out how much this is going to cost and if there'll be some kind of a discount (hey, I can hope!) if one buys LLMP for length of stay.

As far as everything else goes, I'll book the harder-to-get LLSPs first, starting with the hardest and working my way down while my sister will do the same for the LLMPs, and whoever finishes earliest will help out with the rest.

But if it turns out that LLMPs and LLSPs cost significantly more than the current G+ and ILL$, then I do not know what we're going to do. Because money.

Just two of us. Three days in the parks in December. We’ll get LLMP for each day (even where not needed, like AK and EPCOT (I have a walking/balance disability that makes it much safer for me to use the lightning lanes)). The only LLSP we’re likely to buy is RoR.
