Hi, we are going to Ohana's for breakfast. Can someone tell me what to expect on the menu? Our book just says "basic family style". I'm guessing the standard breakfast fare? The menu page wasn't loading just now.

Thanks!

We ate there 2 weeks ago today. We had...

-Sweet rolls/pineapple bread
-Fresh fruit plate
-Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, potatoes
-Mickey waffles
-AWESOME juice

First they bring the bread in a basket, along with some juice. Shortly thereafter comes the fruit. Then a big platter with the eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and biscuits. A lady comes around with a basket of Mickey waffles and puts however many you want on your plate.

This past week's Dis Unplugged Podcast features a review of 'Ohana's breakfast. I'd give that a listen.

Does anyone know if they bring out pancakes for my fussy eater if I ask?:)

I heard the podcast review and have this booked for our upcoming December trip. I was really looking forward to it too :guilty: but Pete's review was far less than stellar so I'm online now trying to find positive reviews. Can't find any yet  !

I've seen many, many positive reviews of the breakfast here on the DIS. We just went in June and my DD6 loved it! Lilo, Stitch and especially Pluto all played around with my daughter. Second best character interaction we have ever had! Food was good, typical breakfast fare and I love that they bring it to you, no standing in a buffet line. I would definitely go back there again!:thumbsup2

Actually, I generally find that this breakfast gets very good reviews. We enjoyed it, we liked being served (no worrying about missing a character while you visit the buffet), the food was very good, the atmosphere and characters were great. We sort of prefer the variety of the buffets but only for the variety, not the quality.

Pete is like most reviewers, he goes in there to review and is almost always critical. He has given some bad reviews of several places we enjoy very much at WDW. I never let bad reviews sway me, since its only my tastebuds I have to worry about!
