We are thinking about going to Coral World during our cruise in November. Please tell me about your experiences here. Did you go with Disney or on your own?

Any help good or bad will be appreciated.

Thank you!!

Been to CW twice. Once when staying on St Thomas and the second on DCL Eastern.
WE did iy on our own - Got a cab from the dock.
We packed towels and beach stuff and went to Coki Beach adjacent to it.
It works out well because CW has showers (Clean) that after the Beach you can go back and freshen up.
Coral World is great for Kids.

We also printed a coupon online for a discount at CW.

About how much was the cab to Coki Beach per person, and how much was the enterance fee to Coral World? Would it be ideal for a 15 and 13 year old?

Did you have any problems getting a cab back or were there plenty around. That is my biggest fear.

Coral World is okay....nothing spectacular in my opinion. We did it as 2 adults (honeymoon) and again with 2 young children and nothing ooohed and aaahed us. I would choose a different excursion

We did Coral World on our 5/15-22 cruise. :) If your kids love seeing the different fish, sting rays, etc. then they will enjoy it.

Check out my report on our day at St. Thomas on the reports board and you can also see pics of Coki Beach and Coral World here...http://community.webshots.com/user/phylliskelly

We went to Coral World only because that is where my family took their SNUBA lessons. It was a nice little beach and we also checked out Coral World while waiting. Small area but nice place to cool off too! We went in a shuttle/taxi ..think they call them jitney buses..sp?? Anyway, timing was fine. Lesson in the late am and back on ship for late lunch, 2:30pm or so.
