Have you Been in trouble at FW.

I've received a few "nasty-grams" from Mean Gene the loop attendant when I wrongfully parked a car or trailer on the imaginary grass around the campsite.

I was also asked not to confront other guests in regards to them picking up their dog's poop. (I am real confrontational about that) I was told, "If you report it to the front desk, we'll take care of it." Who the heck are they trying to kid??? I'll bet a guest could take a dog into the lobby of the check-in, let it poop in the middle of the floor, and not ONE CM would say a a thing.

Is that a dare?

My dog can poop at will. So can I, for that matter. Dog, guest - it's all the same to me.

Where am I when that happens? I would love to witness that! My mom asks if they need a bag so they can "pick that up". But, let someone cut through her campsite and it is on!!!!! She yelled at one lady so long and so hard that I almost felt sorry for the poor lady! I always tell my kids not to go into other peoples campsite because they may go all Grandma on ya!

Kind of like, "You do know that it is rude to cut through some ones campsite, don't ya? You do know that is what the roads are here for, don't ya? If you want to pay for half my site, I will be more than willing to let you cut through all day long, but if your not willing to pay for half, I am not willing to let you cut through!":lmao:

I just love my mom!

This thread was to tell us what trouble you have been in. Not to cause you to go get in trouble. But what ever floats your boat.

The wife and I rode around on the rental cart for three days with dogs aboard and drinking adult drinks. The morning of the fourth day while sitting on the can and reading the park rules.(only reading material within reach) I read no dogs allowed nor drinking on the carts. So for the rest of the trip we left the dogs in the camper. Put adult drinks in unmarked cups thereafter.

Well....you disguised the drinks...you should have just disguised the dog as an otter who was hitching a ride and went with it!!!

I guess we are boring cause we have never been fussed at when staying at the Fort. Actually haven't been fussed at on any camping trip.

Not boring you just follow directions well. You probably read all the papers they give you when you checked in. I read ours 2 weeks after we got home. :confused3. I believe in following the rules. But its kind of like doing 70 in a 55. You never knew you where speeding when you didnt see the sign. But you still get the ticket.

Well actually the dogs can't ride in the cart but nothing was said when we tied them to the bumper and they ran behind. Well they ran part of the way.

OK OK, I'm kidding!!!!!! We actually put the dogs in the cart and dragged the kids. Got less dirty looks that way.

I guess they cant say too much anymore about the dogs on carts because you can use the excuse that you are taking them to the dog park. I never had a problem with my dogs on my cart (knock on wood) I take them around the main loop but not by the water or past the unhitching area, and never off the cart.

So the rules say they can't RIDE in the cart, but can they DRIVE the cart?

Mickey is an excellent driver.
