Nothing on club level, as floridafam stated, unless it is at rack rate, which is not doable at the moment. I am working on DH, who isn't giving in a bit and he even actually said the word "kissimmee" which made me scream in agony! The horror of it all! Right now I have Akl savannah view booked, after giving up my wl/wlconcierge rooms and their deposits earlier today. I am just trying to push for the airfare buy, then I know it is a done deal!

Putting out the cordials, including the amarula from AKL's club level!

floridafam...for that rack rate, I would just go for the 1 bedroom suite!
And there are no suites on the 12th floor CR, sorry!

I did find two nights on the 14th floor CR (suite) during the marathon, but I received a call from Mark P,(one of the mgrs from the Poly), and they have decided to start the rehab of the Tonga longhouse AFTER the marathon week, thus we're staying at the Poly!
And we decided to upgrade ta boot!

We'll be the last ones to stay at the King Kamehameha Suite before the new rehab!

DH is thrilled to be back on the monorail and near a great fitness center and spa!

Better make that the "be-all-end-all-of DINNERS'!!!!!

There is no 1 br suite available at AKL for Christmas, only a 2br. (way too much room for us.)

I guess I'll decide soon what to do.

The two bedroom, with coaxing, should be able to be a one bedroom since the second bedroom is a lock off. I was offered the same two bedroom, but knew that wasn't a possibility, either.

I have a starving child here!! She can't eat anything!! She's allergic to everything!!

They promised me oatmeal with Rice milk. I have fired off a panicked email.

We can't eat that packaged stuff, she'll seize up and die.

P.S. Have I mentioned I hate day shift? I came home last night from Weight Watchers after work (lost 2.6 pounds, because there has been no TIME to eat this week) and absolutely sobbed over the pile of laundry left to do.

storybookmum - It's ok, dear. I'm sure CL will help you out and get you your oatmeal for your little one. I wish I could help with your laundry - can you ship it to Minnesota? I know that crazy overwhelmed feeling. Take deep breaths and close your eyes for a few minutes - try and get some rest! I know -like when? Congratulations on the WW loss - you should be proud. Thanks for the response BT. When I go online to WDW.com and check availability for the CR they always show a 1br Lake View but then it says it only comes with limited concierge.


Okay, Lounge Lizards, I need your advice.

The Christmas trip is back on. Should we do WL for 2 nights with a FL res. rate or AKL CL for 2 nights at rack rate?????

What would you do?

I just called and switched over to AKL because this is kind of the last chance we have to take the Sunrise Safari for a while with a little one on the way. Also, we'll be at WL in May so I don't feel so bad. We'll get to see their new lounge!!

I just talked to Andrea and booked the Sunrise Safari, ordered the Mouseketree and stockings and got our original PS time for Boma back on Christmas Day.



If my MIL decides to come down and join us we'll try and bump up to the suite.

I'm so excited.

Debbie - I just know there has to be a way to spend Christmas at AKL, too! If sweet talkin' DH doesn't work, there is always arm wrestling.

I agree. We missed the very end of the eclipse because of cloud cover so I was able to show my kids what it would have looked like.
