Have we always been able to bank pts online?

So I was just poking around DVCMember.com (confirming the reservation I just made was taken from the correct points), and I noticed that there is a form to bank points online. Is this new, or since I'm still relatively new is it something that's just "new to me?" I know my first banking had to be done on the phone, but that was because it was a 3-way call with our guide in order to get the deadline waived. If it's new, it's a nice step towards making the reservations online...
 
It's not that new. It's been around for a while now, but there was a time when we didn't have it.
 
Online banking first became available a few years ago. I avoided it for a long time after some members reported having strange problems with their accounts after banking points online but that was more than a year ago, maybe even two years ago. I used it earlier this year and have had no problems with my account.
 
We have used online banking since becoming members (2006). Have never had a problem and it is so easy!
 

We joined in early '09 and it's been there since at least then. The one banking transaction we needed to do was done online, easy simple and fast!
 
Ah, so I'll just chalk it up to "unobservant" then.

To the people who have used it and either did or did not have issues - when did you use it in relation to your banking deadline? Wonder if the form just ends upon a report somewhere and they still have to manually process it on their end, perhaps taking a day or two and therefore missing the deadline (like the current online reservation "requests.")
 
I have used it for at least two years. You get a email confirmation, but I always print my confirmation also. I bank when I am suppose to. Once, I banked early, then needed some of my points for a reservation. I try not to wait until the last day, in case of internet problems.
 
This has been available for several years. I have been a member since 1997 and banked by phone for several years. Now I always use online banking and I have never had a problem. It is very convenient.

My experience was that it was something actually *done*, and was immediate. Not like sending in a reservation request.

I'm in the process of selling three small contracts, and they asked me to bank two of them, I also didn't even know you could do it online, it was done instantly, and they were able to confirm with DVC that they points were banked.
