Hi

After looking at our finances we cant really afford to go this October. My dh said we can go in May 2007.

How am I going to cope? 10 months seemed a long time to wait, but another 7 months omg. :sad2:

We cant book anything until April. I am so eager to start booking. Bruce said we cant book the flights until 10 months before and he wants to sort out a few things before we book the villa.

15 months is such a long time. I have to think of something to occupy my mind perhaps a small holiday somewhere in the uk.

15 months, oh I am so dissapointed we could not go this year.

I feel exactly the same. We wont get chance to go this year as David has just bought a new car and we are getting married next year. At work I have just made a booking for a family to go to WDW and I really want them to take me in their suitcase. I'd make a great guide for first timers.

Maybe we should make a not going to WDW this year club. :sad2:

I hope you get everything booked as soon as you can and if you need any help just pm me :wave2:

I know it is disappointing but at least you know you will go next year :grouphug:

Keep up your positive Disney thoughts through reading trip reports, restaurants reviews and all the other fun you can have on the UK Community boards. The time will soon fly by and you can go to Florida knowing that you won't be coming home worrying about finances.

I think you'll enjoy it more not going again so soon. It's only a few months extra to wait and the anticipation will get you through the winter.

:confused3 I can sympathise with you. We are planning to go in October 2007 for our silver wedding anniversary. We've been saving up since January 2005 so every week I feel that little bit closer. Just think how enjoyable it will be when its arrived! I'm getting as much fun out of planning where to stay, what to do when we get there etc. Time will soon pass and in the meantime we can contribute to DIS and enjoy other people's fun.

Another who is planning for 2007. I'm with Florence, living through planning and trip reports :)

I agree, I know it's disappointing, but it'll be here before you know it. Good luck with getting a little holiday in the UK this year :)

Just think how many new things will be open!, you can really get a good decision on EE, new character meals, and loads of other things, it'll be so worth the wait and more enjoyable because of it!

p.s. this is from someone who was adamant she wasn't going to go this year again, but wait for next year!

The time will fly by! When I booked last year it was an 11 month wait and it just whizzed by!

Hi

Thanks for your support I really appreciate it. I love this site, everyone is so willing to offer support and help its really nice.

I totally agree at least we have something to look forward to and there will be new things open. My dh said the celebration will be different, parade etc...

I cant wait. Just need to wait till July to book the flights. :woohoo:

Thanks again

Love

Hope time flies for you!

On the bright side - more time to plan!

Big Understanding :grouphug:

We certainly wont be going this year as DS aged 7 needs an operation and we very much doubt we will go nect year either...so these boards also keep us going!!

I feel down most days thinking about it but try to think how lucky we have been to go twice already for my DS's DH and myself!! :confused3

The right attitude Jane!! good thinking, actually it wasn't that many years ago that WDW would have been well out of the reach of the average family, let alone single parent families like myself, how lucky we all are that we can experience such an amazing place, especially more than once :grouphug:
