Do you have to order for your 4 year old a seperate meal or can they with an adult? I do have the DDP. Reason is he is extremely picky. We are going to the WCC for one meal and he will not eat a hamburger, fish, mac and cheese or the skillet. He would just be happy taking a small amount from my plate. (I can't get this kids to eat ANYTHING!! No spag, no meats, no rice. It's soooo hard to feed him) Unless of course I smothered it all in chocolate, he would probably suck it off all and throw the actual food back. Oh, no he won't eat pizza either. (of course my 11 year old will eat ANYTHING in anyway, any mixture any spices):confused3

If you are not on DDP it does not matter.

If you are on DDP, it does not matter. However, you must purchase DDP for all people in your party ages three and up, and the child credits can only be used for the child's meals and you would lose the value of the child credits.

If you order the skillet you can't share it with him. Otherwise, you can. Because you're on DDP you will have to find another use for the child's TS credit, or lose it. As Cheshire Figment pointed out, you can use it for a child's meal only.

When we were there we asked the server if our DS could have chicken nuggets and fries...She said it would not be a problem...he got a mickey plate with four nuggets, fries and a cookie...

As for using child credits for child food, cannot happen...

You can always pay OOP for something else and use the child credit at another meal...But that likely won't work for you because you will have an extra cedit somewhere.
