Have to move our vacation time in Aug. Help please?

I just found out that our local school will change the returning time to before Labor Day instead of the traditional afterwards. Now we have to change our vacation time from Aug. 22- Sept. 1 to Aug. 15 -Aug. 24. We have been to WDW during the last week of Aug., but wonder if the crowds are much different between these weeks? Will the week earlier be that much more crowded?

Thanks for any imput as I scramble for a changes.

Since your orig. dates were around labor day I would think the crowds will be a little less mid Aug.

Don't you just hate that they're starting school earlier and earlier? Ours starts August 21st..ON A WEDNESDAY!!! I don't know why, if they're starting back so early, they would start in the middle of the week! Well, we will be at WDW August 11-18 (I'm hoping the discounts will apply to that time frame) and then I've promised DM to take her by her birth place in Alabama so we will not be back for the 1st day of school. I will try to have him in school on August 26th.

You should be just fine during that time. We went last year the very same week and had a great time; the crowds weren't bad at all and when the heat gets to you head for an air conditioned show or to your resort's pool for a while. We live in Maine and the weather was actually more hot and humid up here than it was in Florida!! We'll be there this year from July 27 - Aug 2 so we'll let Mickey know your coming

The nice thing about going a week earlier is that the park hours will be much later!
