Hey guys, just need to vent. I was so happy when DSIL and DBIL decide to come join us in April...I even managed to get them a AP discount on a room at the WL with us. SIL calls this morning. She's in the airport waiting for her plane to load (going to Aruba, the spoiled thing! ) and she tells me that she forgot to pay the deposit on the room...can I find out if it is cancelled and if so, get her another room?
I call, yes, it is cancelled. Only AP availability at WL is the Honeymoon Suite (too much dough). So I make a AP ressie at AKL for a savannah view room. Call SIL back...she doesn't want to stay at AKL if possible because it's too far away.
I call back, get garden view AP ressie for the Poly. Get off the phone, DH says to call back and get them a room at WL no matter the cost.
Call back, get rack rate WL courtyard room ressie.
Have a "duh!" moment and decide to call back to see if I can have a AAA discount applied (they are members). Nope, no AAA discounts, but the wonderful CM tells me that she has a WLV studio with an AP discount (comes out to be only about $30 more than the AKL). Now I am satisfied...they will be right there by us and they will have the kitchenette for the baby! I'm almost jealous that they are staying at the DVC resort...but I am not calling WDW again! They probably think I am nuts!!

Boy, you're a good sport! My in-laws tend to drive me a little nuts, too. Don't get me wrong, they're nice people, but a pain to travel with (picky with accomodations, food, activities). WDW is one of the few places that accomodates all of our tastes, but now they say they're "mickeyed-out". (Personally, I don't understand how that's possible). I don't know how to tell them that it's the only place I enjoy travelling with them!

This is a good thread for me this morning. I was asked to bring dessert for Easter Sunday for 25. Just got told that it is for only 15 instead and I am on a strict diet surrounded by all this extra food. Come on over and get some!!! (please??)

Was called about ten minutes before an Easter Egg Hunt this morning and had to rush about to get there on time. Guess the Lion's Club planned it spur of the moment?

Grandson was due at my house last night, I turned down other plans, he never showed up and today I learn that he did not clean his room so he could not come. How about a call?

Let's face it folks, people are just plain difficult to deal with, in laws or out laws. LOL

Glad you have a sense of humor, it helps.

Lucky thing love is not earned too. (grumble, whine)

Thanks, everyone for letting me vent! I do love them, but because I have learned so much on here, they think I should be in charge of all of the planning...and let's face it...I wouldn't have it any other way!
