HAVE to buy tickets to Disney Quest?

Since it is a confined area, I've decided to let my boys (14 & 10) go to Disney Quest while I am shopping at Downtown Disney. My question is this....can I enter without a ticket to look for them/pick them up? If not, do they have an intercom system to page them? I would go with walkie-talkies, but I'm afraid they wouldn't be heard over the noise in the building.

They will not let you in without a ticket. You will not get past the main floor (we tried to get our boys this past April). You should probably just pick a time and have them meet you in the lobby.

There is no intercom system that I am aware of. DQ is 4-5 floors of games, and it is quite noisy. The walkie-talkie might work -- although it is quite noisy inside!

Thanks for the info....meeting in the front at a certain time should work....unless they are having too much fun and forget!

The exit for DQ is through there Gift Shop (of course) which is to the right of the doors that you enter to go into DQ.

I would have them meet you in the Gift Shop at a certain time. They would have to leave the building and come back in to be in the front lobby to meet you.

Hopefully they won't see too many items they want to buy.

As a general rule, Disney theme parks, water parks, etc do not page guests.

Hi,
We were just there over the holidays....My husband and the boys wanted to go to Disney Quest and of course i wanted to check out the shops and do a little shopping....So what we did was the boys and my husband stayed at Disney Quest and we set a time to meet back in the front lobby of the Disney Quest...If i were you i would make a time for them to meet you in the front lobby and tell them not to move from that spot....That's what i did with my husband just make sure if your late they stay where they are suppose to be not to go looking for you....That's what my family did and it just makes it harder to find everyone....
