Has WDW cut down on their use of A/C in certain attractions?

We seem to remember certain attractions being great places to cool off because the air conditioning was going (our trips have typically been at the same time - March/April with one in September).

Both dh and I noticed it to be significantly less cooler in certain rides such as Carousel of Progress and Spaceship Earth particularly. I am usually cold and am not comfortable in shorts/tank top in weather below 68 degrees, so for me to feel too warm was a bit of a surprise.

I found it comfortable on all the rides and venues at Disney and about burned up in the airport when ready to leave LOL

This is not new. There were quite a few comments last year that people were finding many of the attractions and stores less glacial than in previous years. I didn't have a problem with it, but it's probably another cost cutting measure by the bean counters. I can't even begin to imagine what their AC bill must be like.

Yes, we noticed this several years ago. We go in September, and you used to get that feeling almost like standing in front of an open fridge on IASW which felt great compared to the mid 90's sauna outside. It's still cool enough most places, but nowhere near where it used to be.

We hadn't been in five years so I wasn't aware of how it's changed in that time. Dh insisted the Cola tasting set up was totally different than he remembered because it wasn't cold in there anymore. We have always had similar temps while there so I didn't think it was a difference in contrasts between outside temps and indoor a/c.

The only two that I really noticed it feeling particularly stuffy in was Spaceship Earth and Carousel of Progress.

I can't imagine how big the a/c bill must be!

We noticed this last week! The rides and queue areas were noticeably warmer than experienced before. The shops were still cool....
