Have they renovated all of the rooms at the BWVs?

I am fairly new to the boards - we will be staying at the BWV over Labor Day Weekend and I wondered if they have renovated all of the rooms (standard view). I am a little disappointed in some of the postings (is that the right word) about the rooms - I hope we have not made a mistake by staying at the BWV as it is our first and probably last family reunion! Thanks for any information you can give me.

I think it's been 2 or 3 years since they redid the outside painting, I think they renovated the closed off rooms at the same time. All of the WDW rooms get pretty heavy use, especially with small children, they get beat up pretty fast.

Thank you for replying to my post. We were there in December of 2003 and also December of 2004 and were very satisfied with the rooms. However, I was looking at pictures of the BWV's tonight and the rooms are entirely different (standard view) as far as accessories are concerned. The layout is the same but all of the furniture appears to be new!

Do you have the link to those pictures? All of the rooms should have the same furniture.

I've stayed there the past 5 Decembers in a 1 bedroom and was always happy.

We were in BWV 5015/5017 in 12/2000 and again in 11/2004 and the furniture was the same, no change. They did replace the VCR with a DVD player but that was it.
