And they look big enough to hold enough coffee for several swallows!Real cups!
The resort has restaurants, therefore certainly has commercial dishwashers. Housekeeping simply has to remove the used dishes and replace with clean ones between guests.I’m glad to see this from a environmental standpoint but it also makes me nervous in regards to whether the dishes are washed properly prior to being put away. I guess they give dish soap so I could do a preliminary wash.

One of the reasons/excuses given for having paper cups and plates in studios at SSR was that there were no dishwashers in the various buildings, so no way for Housekeeping to clean those items between guests. That's what Disney said, anyway.
It sure is. DH and I are very happy! It has been a while since I was in a studio so not sure but I do not remember that little silverware holder.
It’s such a beautiful place isn’t it??
Last visit in April at BLT, I called and got mugs from housekeeping. I tried to order some with my walmart order but they were out ????...maybe everyone staying in a studio is ordering mugs.Sadly VGF has paper (checked in today) - All I need is two good coffee mugs - I can deal with the rest

Yes, I actually brought bowls from home, and didn’t need them! We’ve stayed at Riviera quite a few times and always had paper and plastic cutlery and plates; however, we also found our studio kitchen stocked with the same setup as shown in the photo. The bowls are amazing! Perfect size.
Same here. I was in one the week before Labor day and everything was still disposable.I stayed in a standard studio at Riviera last night and it had paper plates and cups.
Same here! Last time I went to Dollar Tree just before my trip and bought a plain white mug. At the end of my stay, I just left it there, for the next person at my BCV studio who needs a real coffee mug. When I was there last week, everything in our Studio was paper. I had to call the front desk and request mugs. Doesn't bother me either way, but I do want my morning coffee in a mug!
