Have Rates Come Out Yet??

I have been in contact with the Gina from the Escape Wedding Team. She called me once back in January and I told her we definitely wanted to do it. She told me she would get back to me with rates, since we want to do it in Jan 2010, but I have yet to hear from her.
Any ideas as to when rates usually come out?
Thanks!

For escape weddings (except wedding pavillion) you can book 12 months in advance. Wedding pavillion is 8 months :) The rate at the moment is $4500 (wedding pavillion $5500) :)

So strange! Every time I email her, she never mentions that rates have come out yet so we can book it. Maybe I should just reserve my room and give her the number?

when I was going to do an escape I was told the 2010 pricing wouldn't come out until the end of Feb or sometime in March. This was around the end of Jan.

Thats the 2009 rates - I would budget for $5000 for 2010 based on the last couple of increases :)

I was just down there in Jan. and the lady we talked to gave us new information on the prices.....i dunno what do you need to know?

Escape package pricing is set for an entire year, from January to December. Current pricing is good through December 2009. As I recall, 2009 pricing came out in the spring of 2008, so it sounds like the 2010 pricing should be out soon. :thumbsup2

I know that prices increase every year, so yeah, we've told my mum to budget for $5000. But they can't officially hold your place until rates come out is what Gina told me. What kind of info did you get?

We were told we could book, but that the budget might change. My husband had us 'penciled in' at 12 months for the wedding pavillion- but it couldn't be final until 8 months. Then we started to change our mind to do sunrise terrace (which is a 12 month window, which we have been in since early january). We have tried for A solid WEEK to get something- but in reality it's actually been like three!! She just finally said one thing a week ago that the dates were available but then never to hear from her again when we tried to book one- and she will not return any of our calls/emails. She never told us we can not book until prices come out, but maybe this is why. I have to say I am BEYOND annoyed at spending all of this money on a vow renewal that no one bothers to even talk with us to book! Especially in this economy! It seems SO rude. I hope this isn't a normal experience for brides to be! At first it seemed she was really helpful and answered questions... it just seems so odd that when we are ready to book we get nothing.

Please do post when you hear anything about prices! I've totally given up at this point, and have focused my energies on getting a DVC contract... and once all that is settled through, I will try to contact DFTW again, but I'm hoping I have someone else to talk to, and someone is happy to book our date! If this is the continued treatment we get, I will seriously consider doing the vr somewhere else:(... which I'd rather not do!

We have been "penciled in" for 5 Jan. It is frustrating, isn't it?! I will let you know if I hear anything regarding this.
My mom just wants to know when she can start making payments, which I find reasonable, but they have yet to contact me with that information, either.

Yes it is frustrating. DH and I are at the point where if it keeps up we'll just do the vr in the keys and then spend our 'familymoon' up in disney (which is the opposite of our plans originally). But we've got a couple of months to hang out with our dvc stuff going through, so hopefully by then they will get it together:)

Thanks for keeping us posted!! And good luck getting information from them!! Oh- and by the way- we have been trying to book Jan 6th- just a day after yours:)
