i sure wish the next 62 days would fly by.....i have had two disney nightmeres now

first dream we got there and instead of CR we had a hole in the wall hotel and i FORGOT our tickets so we could not go to any parks
most recent - we got there having a good time and we went for some reason to validate our tickets( not even sure if we have to do this -) and guess what??? I FORGOT the tickets ! only in this dream.....my DH saved my butt- there he was standing there with my file! :wave2: :) ( i have all tickets, plane info, hotels info in a file)

anyone else having bad dreams? is this a sign of overplanning and stressing out?????

LOL hope this does not go on for the next 2 mths

This happens to me all the time! The last one I had I woke up and it was the END of the trip! How did I miss the whole trip? But what a relief to realize it was only a dream!

Around here (WNY), October flies by because of the pumpkins, apples, fall colors, day trips, etc... so before I know it, it'll be November! Then I can start packing!

Thanksgiving is our Disney Eve this time, and what a day it'll be! :bounce:

Good luck, try to destress and enjoy this time because before you know it, you'll be talking about what you DID and not what you'll DO on vacation! :(

Happens to me too...

only my dreams are about being at Disney, and everyone else in the family puttering around the hotel, wanting to go buy groceries, etc. And then, by the end of the trip, we never made it to any of the theme parks!

Guess who's the theme park commando trying to get everyone up and out of the hotel every trip??:p

I always have vacation dreams before we travel--where everything that could go wrong does. We miss the plane, our shuttle isn't there, the hotel doesn't have our reservation. I always know when this starts happening, it's time for me to back off a bit and just trust that things will go right!

It's not just WDW trips, it happens anytime I'm flying somewhere!

Oh Gosh! I have been working so hard to make this a very magical trip for my DGD and I just know that I have also been driving my family crazy with this planning. I have been having this nightmare where I get to WDW and I realize I left my PassPorter home on the table with all my tickets and info in it. I think I wonder if DH would bring it to me from Ct. Oh gosh I don't want to have to start all over. LOL!

I had this terrible dream in which we were driving to Florida and we had just passed the Georgia border and I noticed that we forgot our trip binder which holds all of our tickets and our U.S. Money and Travelers Cheques. *shudder*

I had a nightmare last night regarding our trip .....

I was at work and everyone was asking me "How was your trip?". I was so confused because we hadn't gone yet! I kept saying "We haven't gone yet" and everyone would say "Yes you did - you just got back". I was so upset because my trip was over and I had no memory of it! Then I was crying saying "Now I have to wait a whole year to go back!" :scared:

This happened to me too! This is our first trip to Disney, and I have been planning like mad since February. Anyway, my husband is not too thrilled about the trip, but my 4 kids are excited. I've had the dream that we all get there and no one likes anything! Not the carefully planned meals, visits to the parks, etc. etc. I'm sure it won't come true, and we'll have a wonderful time!

We're leaving on Christmas Day for Disney and I just dreamt last night that I forgot to buy my son Christmas presents, I started rationalizing in my dream that I could just write him a check and that he would be happy with that. :D

You guys are starting to really freak me out! I haven't had any nightmares yet, but now can see all the things that can go wrong. Even though I have been to Disney before, I was 20 and still in college and went with my parents who planned everything! THis time it's me doing a majority of the planning, my Dad is helping some, but basically doing what I tell him too:) At least I know that the kids will be happy...and I guess that's all that really matters!

LOL!!! Ok, I am a bigtime planner (already have most of our Feb. trip planned out!), but I haven't gotten to the point of having nightmares! LOL!! Your poor thing! ;);) This thread is hilarious!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one with wierd dreams.............just last night I was talking with my kids about the thrill rides at disney.........I was bragging that I was going to do space, thunder, and splash mountains and missions space......then I stopped and said .......well......maybe!!

Then it came to me in a dream.......I was on this ride merrily rolling along when I looked and the ride went straight down! I had my 7 yr old daughter on my lap and she wasn't buckled in!!   Just as the flume ride started heading down, I yelled to her ........HANG ON!! End of dream. Woke up and went to the bathroom!! Like wierd!!::yes::

I had a dream the night Jeanne hit Florida. I dreamt we were driving down in the hurricane- not a happy dream. LAst night I know I was drraming of Disney but can;t remember what!

This thread is too funny! I actually had a Disney nightmare last night! :earseek: It consisted of our family and a bunch of friends driving our car down Main Street leaving MK. We had just gotten there but had to leave so we never really visited WDW. It was a tease! :teeth: A very strange dream indeed and not the first one I've had either.

When I told my DH and DD's this morning about it, they just shook their heads at me and told me I was definitely a Disney fanatic! :teeth:

I don't need to have nightmares! I have enough worries when I'm awake!

What if there is a blizard and O'Hare gets snowed in? (we leave Dec. 3rd, it's been known to happen!)

What if there is a hurricane in FL (again, rare but known to happen in early Dec.)

What if there is a blizzard AND a hurricane?

What if we get bumped from the flight? (I'm a travel agent and know exactly what to do, but does it stop me from worrying? No.)

What if we get to the Poly and we hate it. What if I like it and BF hates it? What if BF just hates WDW? What if one of us gets sick? What if we both get sick? What happens if I forget things like our tickets?

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

The worst one I have had (I have had many...:earseek: ) is where we get there and I can't get anyone to do anyting. No one gets out of bed, no one wants to drive, no one listened to me when I say we are going the wrong way, we get to the parks very late but no-one wants to ride anything.

I spend the whole dream trying to convince people to do things. Be fore I know it, they are apcking the car to go hone and I have done NOTHING at the parks, NO SHOPPING either...Can you say NIGHTMARE?!?!

I thought I was the only one with Disney nightmares!!!! My husband thinks I'm a lunatic but I had a dream that for some reason or another my husband couldn't go on our trip and my parents filled in instead. Then when we finally there I realized that the only things I had remembered to bring were my daughter and our tickets....no money...no hotel.....NO LUGGAGE!!!! Don't ask how I'd forget luggage...thank god that kind of stuff only happens in dreams!!!!!

The only one I remember was when a group of us were going. For some reason the airline wouldn't let my DH on the plane. For some strange reason having to do with work, if he didn't leave with me he wouldn't be able to take the vacation. I had to decide whether to stay with my husband or go on the trip. LOL!

Thank goodness I woke up before I had to tell him to enjoy working while I was gone!!!! :teeth:

I had this terrible dream in which we were driving to Florida and we had just passed the Georgia border and I noticed that we forgot our trip binder which holds all of our tickets and our U.S. Money and Travelers Cheques.

This made me laugh. Only because it was something that happened to me!

Luckily, we didn't get as far as Georgia, but we did get to the Connecticut/New York border (two hours from home). I realized that I had forgotten our tickets. We had to go all the way back.
My DH was so mad, he didn't/couldn't speak to me for the entire day! All he could do was sputter and shake his head. It was very funny. Sort of like something you'd see in a comedy.

I felt bad, but was really amused at his reaction. I couldn't help it. His reaction was hysterical. The more I apologized, the angrier he became, and the funnier his reaction. I had to try hard not to laugh out loud.

I guess you had to be there to fully appreciate the situation. but I can honestly say that in the nearly 30 years my DH and I have been married, this was the most angry he has ever been about anything! And it WAS funny.
