Have I lost control?

Do you all think, You have lost control of your kids when they have a jumping house inflated in your living room.
Mine just recieved a lovely Spiderman one as an early Birthday presant from Grampy. 8x8. I would say it probably is a bit much for the living room, Ya think?

We had a couple old mattresses once. Before we threw them away the kids got the bright idea of putting them end to end on the stairs to the play room in the basement. They made a slide. It was the perfect thing for a rainy day with 8 kids in my house. My two and friends, and I was babysitting neices and nephews.

I always thught I was crazy too. I always let my kids CAMP out in the living room!! They loved it. My DD still does want to sleep out in the tent every now and then. Besides years from now you wish you stil had that tent in your living room!!! Have fun!!

BTW, what age is appropriate for it? Isabella (will be 6 in June) wants a trampoline but I'd rather give her an inflatable bouncer/jumping house. I'd like her to use it outside however

Go with the flow...they will remember this night for a long time even if they are only 3. You cannot put a price on memories like this.

Nope - the jump house is ok by me. Remember though, this is from someone who had a ball pit in his living room for 1-1/2 years

This is also for outside. But my preschoolers have been running high fevers all week and not or barely moving, So we thought get them a lttle treat now that they are feeling better.

There is a 200 lb weight limit. (combined weight limit. ) Mine is the spiderman bounce house by spin master.
If you go the Amazon.com website, They have quite a few of them with age and weight specifics. If your Isabella is a princess fan, There is a beautiful, Princess one, all pink and purple with turretts, very nice. of course I have boys so for us it would never do. There is also a very nice Scooby jumping house there.

Better than jumping on the beds...........My brother and I used to do that when we were about 5 or 6, in my room, and we broke the bed!

It sounds to me that you are in complete control. You know what's best for your kids and they needed some fun. I say you're doing great.

My 7 and 9 year old boys loved to camp out in the living room with their air mattress on weekends, which they used like a jumping house prior to bedtime. I was kind of glad when they finally put a hole in it. Ah, the memories...

It is now on sale for $199. It is actually bright purple and yellow. And recommended for ages 6-8. Sounds like what you would be looking for.

I bought 2 of those one for my husbands twin nephews and one for my niece and nephew ... I say from being on the other end of it LET EM Play !!!!

Lets hope it holds as much interest for them through the summer. They have been jumping since around 8pm. So I have to say it is a hit.

Aren't grandparents lovely. Our childrens' are constantly filling our house with over-sized toys. And undersized ones too for that matter. We could run 3 daycares with the toys in this house.
