Have I left it too late

Due to a lot of things going on work I've just noticed I'm past the 180 day mark, well past! I'm going 30/10/08 - 13/11/08. Have I left it too late to make ADR?

Most people on these boards make their ADRS 180 days out but all you can do is try and hope for the best! Give yourself lots of options in case you don't get your first picks. You'll get somethings. Just call and see. That's the only way to know. Good luck! :thumbsup2

My only advice is to call Disney Dining now and see what you can get.

We are going Oct 18-24 and I called right at the 180 day mark and found that several of the places we wanted like Chef Mickey's and LeCellier had very limited times available.

It does not hurt to call and see what you can get. You may have to be a little flexible with ADR dates/times, but I bet you should be able to get most of them.

It will also depend on the number in your party. It's been said that trying to get a table for 2 is harder then trying to get a table for 4 because they have less 2 tops then 4 tops.

Call today and see what you can get....and then if you don't get exactly what you want, keep calling back. People cancel/change things every day....and honestly, I really think they hold back some tables or something. I can't tell you how many times I've read about how this or that place is booked solid for someone's entire vacation and then a few days later someone else writes that they got not only the restaurant but the typical dinner/lunch hour not some off time.

And, I can say that has happened to me quite often. We're going end Nov/beg Dec and people are talking about how impossible it is to get reservations, so I start to panic because my 180 days are long past but we're being rather slow in figuring out what we want to do, so I hadn't made many ADRs. So I call figuring I better just get SOMETHING so we aren't stuck with CS the whole stay. I get lunches at 11:30 and 12:30 I get dinners at 5 and 6 pm.....and one poster said she'd been trying to get 1900 Park Fare for the same week and nothing available anywhere, and I get breakfast at 9am one day and dinner at 6:30 another day. And we have the same party size, so that wasn't it either. I kinda felt guilty that I got it with so little effort, but hey, I didn't have any strings to pull so I guess I just got lucky.

Also....it is said that about 45 days out is another good time to call.....people are cancelling trips before the deadline and so their ADRs open up also.

a number of options - Le Cellier dinner or California Grille around Wishes no - but we have had luck at other locations in the time frame you're describing and went at a higher time than the beginning of November.

Call soon, have a list of potential restaurants exceeding your needs in order of preference and be flexible. You can always call later too. A friend went during Spring Break called dining on arrival and had several choices for a Tusker House ADR on the day they were doing DAK.

I am going the middle of Oct and am still playing around with my reservations. I think you have a good shot at alot of great places!

We arrive October 18 and have not made any ADR yet. Now, we don't do any of the "hot" character meals or think Le Cellier is a "do or die." We love some of the resort restaurants and are flexible with meal times. I'm not really worried.
