to book Auberge de Cendrillon and Walts? I've got Buffalo Bills booked for Tuesday, but I am dithering over Walts Monday and Cindy's Wednesday, or the other way round - we have a super-early crossing (driving) and would book for dinner not lunch, but I'm worried about getting delayed and not getting there in time :confused3

Sorry to sound so divvy - any suggestions?

I would have thought you would be fine for booking now- not too late. As for times- what time are you expecting to get there/planning on booking a table for?

I'm sure it's not too late to book :)

I think Walt's for dinner on the Monday, and Auberge for lunch on the Wednesday. I might be completely out of the loop on this one, but isn't the Princess meal only available at lunchtime? Also, in the very unlikely event that you should miss the reservation at Walt's on Monday, then that will probably the easier one to re-book while you're there, if you wanted to.

Might have trouble with DH then - he's big on light lunch and not wasting day on a long meal when he could be enjoying himself;)

We were planing our evening meal for about 5.30 - we have such an early crossiing (something stupid like 6.30 :scared1: )it really shouldn't be a problem. I'll double check the princess meal:thumbsup2

Does anyone know if w/c 7/4 counts as high season? On the dining guide it says AdC is closed on Tues/Weds in low season. There is a ? next to dinner, so possibly it needs updating  Any up to date advice (or suggestions for an alternative) welcome!

When I was looking at prices for a trip, that week is the cheapest so they may class it as low season

Walts is also closed on Tuesday and Wednesday w/c 7/4/08 ... called yesterday to try and booked and they said it was closed on those two days !

So definitely Walts on Monday for us then :thumbsup2 Any suggestions for Wednesday? we're staying in DLH, should we eat there? (But with the euro at present not sure about that :scared1: ) DS(8) wants to eat at Rainforest Cafe - can you make reservations? (I thought not) and is it likely to be busy for an early dinner?

When I booked I was told Walts was closed on the Monday. I have a dinner reservation with confirmation number booked for the Wednesday of that week!! I think I will give them a ring tomorrow and confirm all my dinner reservations!!

Edit: I couldn't wait until tomorrow and just phoned now. Walts is closed on Wednesday, my confirmation number was not in the system!! I got my Monday reservation changed to Walts and my California Grill reservation that I had on Monday swapped to Wednesday. Huge thanks for the heads up on this guys!!

I've booked Walts for MOnday  but there's no dinner at Lucky Nugget on Wednesday:sad2: At the moment I'm thinking of just looking round on Monday and booking something at City Hall for the Wednesday - any suggestions? I fancy Blue Lagoon but I've seen mixed reviews. We're staying at DLH so we'll be having breakfast with characters, so we're just looking for somewhere "nice" (ie hassle-free table service).

Can I aslo check - is there a dress code for Walts? My mum was saying she'd "bring a skirt for Walts" but I was not intending to go and change part-way through our first (short) day:lmao: Does Walt object to trousers/jeans?:confused3 Surely not! I'll be wearing a bumbag too, but I will wear my tiara if that helps:rolleyes1

I don't think there's a dress code for any of the restaurants in the park - although obviously if you're a 4 yr old girl you'll be wanting your best Sleeping Beauty dress on.

There's no dress code ~ you'll feel perfectly fine with your bumbag and tiara. :thumbsup2

A shame about the Lucky Nugget :sad2: however we've eaten at the Blue Lagoon twice and had lovely food both times so i'd have no hesitation in recommending there.
