Have AP Rate but no pass yet?

We are buying AP's but won't be getting them until the day after we check in to the hotel (we do not get in until 9pm). Since we have an AP rate, how will this work with check in if I don't have the pass in hand yet?

You need to have a valid AP before you check in.

I would buy an AP voucher at either the Disney Store or in the mail. You shouldn't have a problem checking in with that, they may ask to see the activated pass within 24 hours.

All 3 times I've had an AP rate, they didn't ask to see it.

I'm sure you will get lots of different answers on this one. My opinion would be to get your AP from the Disney store (they have on in Orlando Airport). When we stayed at GF last, they never asked to see my AP upon check in. However, many people here report they do ask for them. I, personally, would not want the worry of wondering whether or not they will ask for it. Also if they do ask and you don't have it, then you will lose your rate. Just not worth it in my opinion.

I was told by my travel agent (dreams unlimited, specializing in Disney) that you can buy one at check in, but will still have to get it activated at Guest Relations at one of the parks or DTD. That's what my plan is. We're actually leaving on Wednesday, so we'll see how it works.

i don't think they are available at the resorts.

Just want to Say this ,,, They never ask...

Dont know if it is in the computer or not in front of them but we have not Been asked to produce the pass....

we do have it..
I WOULD SAY...

that as long as u have ordered the pass From Disney u are in the computer and u should have an order Number...

and that will work for u if they should ask...
