Have AP hotel rate for 2 nights-what if I drop 1 night?

I'm taking my twins for their Sweet 16th birthday. I booked 2 nights at DLH at the current AP special rate, which has a 2 night minimum. We have something else that just came up that may mean we can only stay 1 night. Would I lose my booking, or would they adjust the price? I tried asking a CM on the Disneyland.com website chat, but I don't think she really knew as she kept answering as if I hadn't booked yet. She eventually told me I'd not lose the booking or the special rate, but I don't have a lot of faith in that info. BTW, all rooms are currently sold out. I thought I'd try asking here.

Edited to add: if it makes a difference, we're booked for March 19-21.

Call and ask. Chat is pointless, idk why they bother having it. I really wouldn’t think they’d let you keep the AP rate when it requires 2 nights but no personal experience there.
