Have any Canadians received the Free Dining pin code?

How does one get this code we have been going for years and never received anything, do you get in the mail or email and did you previously book with dining plan because we never use dining plan. Enlighten us.

Sometimes I think that the more often you go, the less likely you are to get a code. We are registered on disney.com, etc. and have never received a code. Of course, we've also been fortunate to have gone each spring for the last 4 years and are planning another trip in May.

Is it only luck to get a code, or are they trying to entice you to come and spend your money (again)?

Don't know yet. The previous FD has come out in April, so we will see. They have first offered it to Disney Visa holders and then about a week later it was open to the public. In the past they have also offered it at different times to selected groups of visitors such as those residing in the UK.

Typically for the last few yrs Disney has offered FD to the general public for the end of Aug through to the end of Sept. It is usually not offered until April. With this new FD code, there has been much speculation as to whether or not they will even offer FD, but no one knows & we will have to wait & see.

I also got the 40% off PIN code & am booked for Sept. That way if the FD is offered I will switch to FD but at least if it isn't I have the 40% to fall back on.
