Hello all!

I purchased an AP for a week long trip in May, and will be going back in November for 4 days. My husband will be going this time and will need a 4 day/2 park per day ticket. I see and have read that I can purchase these with an AP discount. Can I do this online or is it only once I arrive? I am trying to maximize time. I think there is a 10% discount on tickets?

Not sure if purchasing at my local military base could be a better price ( we are retired AF) and would not pay tax there. It is $188 for a 4 day pass. Also not sure what may be required to activate those type of tickets - the clerk at MWR wasn't sure.

Any thoughts? Either way - can't wait to return!!!!

Thank you!!!

Your military tickets would be cheaper.

Thank you, damo!

I wonder how difficult it is to get them converted to a real ticket. Is that at the admission gate or guest services? No one at the base ticket office seemed to have any idea. They told me the mostly sell Disney passes. Well.... others don't know what they are missing!

Do you know that they aren't already actual tickets? If they are vouchers, you just go to guest services. If the tickets have a bar code you can go right to the gates with them.

Yes, they are cardboard type vouchers. No barcodes, and the clerk said to bring military ID to parks. I won't buy them until probably September, so perhaps they will have a bit more information then. There was a lot of craziness as it was the day Disney announced their 2015 military salute.

I will be happy to use them - whichever type tickets I buy!

Thank you again for all the help.
