Have all ASMu and ASSp rooms been rennovated?

Hi all,

I haven't been around the resorts board much in a while so I'm wondering if all the the rooms at these two resorts have now been through the rennovations?

I need one night at the end of our trip and I'd like to try one of these resorts, would like a new room though.

It is my understanding all Music has been renovated. Not 100% sure though.

All Star Music finished the renovations in all of the rooms in June 2007.

As of last week (FEB11,2008) most but not all of the rooms have been refurbished
at All Star Sports.

Would anyone know which sections of ASSp's have been rennovated? So if we decide on that resort, we could request a rennovated section.

We were at Music a few weeks ago, and our room was renovated. They did a great job with the new paint, carpet and furniture BUT our mattress etc was old. I even pulled the linens to check the delivery tag (2004). It was alittle disappointing to be in a new room on an old mattress for week. So if the bedding is important to you....you might want to verify that.

Thanks. I'm working on my goal of staying at every WDW resort so I wanted to choose one of these for one night at the end of a DVC stay. That's a bummer that the mattresses were older but I guess we'll deal with it for one night.

I think my guys would like ASSp's but I want a rennovated room so may have to go with ASMu.

Most of the newly refurbished rooms at All Star Music have new pillowtop mattresses. They are very" comfy".

Your report is the only one I have read where a guest staying in a refurbed Music room did not have the new pillowtop matresses.

I wonder if a few rooms did not update to the pillowtop mattresses because of some special needs guests who need a bed with a lower mattress.

Well, I just booked a preferred ASSports room with AAA discount for that one night. I requested a rennovated room in Surf's Up so I hope they've been done

I had heard about the pillowtops and was very excited about it........so that made it even more disappointing. The mattress was quite broken in with a lovely dip in the middle. We were not in a handicapped room, a standard room with two beds so I expected the same upgrade as the others had.

When you are selecting the resort based on the rehab it was disappointing, so I just wanted OP to know that not all rooms are what I would consider completely done.

I was in All Star Sports in Surf's Up I, Room 1101 on 1/31 through 2/2 and I don't believe it was a renovated room, but it did have new pillowtop mattresses. Or maybe it was renovated and I just didn't realize it? I can't find any pics of a renovated Sports room vs. unrenovated rooms, but it still had the big stars over the beds, which don't seem to be there any more in the pictures I can find of renovated Music rooms.

we were at Sports for one night before moving to YC, this was New Years Day. Our room was in Touchdown, the building right next to the main building. The mattresses appeared new, in fact DH commented that they were mory comfy than the ones at YC!

Thanks everyone. Well, I guess I'm going to try ASSports another time. AP rates came out this morning so I upgraded to WL We'll be at the WLV prior to this one night so it'll be really easy to move over to a lodge room.

Manda, I think the rennovated rooms should have some different furniture and a flat screen tv like at ASMu

I still look forward to trying these resorts out in the future, I'm working toward the goal of staying at every WDW resort. I think I'm about half way there
