Yes, do not buy your own MM - just make sure you appear as "family and friends" on your sisters account. We went in June with 3 families and did this. All photos show up under all accounts (only wrinkle we found was if one of the other families' children scanned their MB instead of the parent, the picture did not show up in my account. One phone call fixed that).

You purchase either a print or a download. The download comes with print rights but the print does not.

There hasn't been a picture taken with dinner, only for the breakfast. The one at breakfast was moved into the restaurant with Stitch, probably because of the construction.

The PhotoPass Archive Download doesn't include the ride pictures or the pictures from the dining locations that offer them.

I had a resort tab that mine were under. I would call PP and tell them that you have missing pictures and see if they can locate them for you. One other place to look might be at the very bottom of one of the other sections....I had a couple of sets of pictures that were misplaced (like ones in front of the train station at MK were under resorts).

What a great thread! I have only read through about page 20 but I wanted to ask a couple of questions, forgive me if they are asked somewhere in this huge thread.

1- We will not have magic bands. . how will they link or pictures? Just by using the card?

2- Ride photos that aren't linked... I think I read somewhere you can go to the photo booth after and have them added to your MM card? Is that correct?

3- if our group separates (just 4 of us so not huge) and one runs into a photo op, how can we get those photos?

Nope, they were taken on a normal park day in the middle of June.

Yes. Or you can get regular PP cards from the photog and add the numbers from the card to your account to add photos.

Photopass photographers have cards they carry around that can be added to your account (there are numbers on them to link the card). If they ride a ride without you, you will need to return to the ride within 24 hours to have the ride photo added.

Just back and have to say thank you for all of your advice. I received more magic shots then I ever would have expected just by asking. Hubster and I loved to ham it up for the camara and it seemed like the more we did that the more pics the photographers would want to take.

Shout out to these great Photopass photographers that were so fun.

I just want to say a big thanks! for this thread. I know the photo person who started it has stopped posting, but maybe he/she reads from time to time. Thanks so much for all the info, plus all the subsequent people who have come in to share information. Disney may have not given the authority to speak on their behalf, but I think the OP and others have sold a lot of Memory Makers with this informative thread!

In his account, make sure the view PhotoPass Photos under Friends and Family is checked. If the person it was scanned to is sharing with him but not you, that could be why that's happening.

For the MK photos in June in resorts, probably the photographer just tagged the photos with the wrong location. It happens

I know different variations of this question have been asked but I just want to be absolutely sure - my family is traveling to WDW with another family next month though our reservations are completely separate and they are staying at a different resort. I have purchased MM and the entitlement is listed under my name on MDE. My husband has a MDE account though I manage all the accounts for our family (make ADRs, FP+ reservations, etc). (1) Do he and I need to do something to make sure any photos scanned on his magicband show up in my account? (2) If he rides attractions without me, will the photos show up in my account? And if so, does he have to do something when he gets off the ride or will it happen automatically? (3) If the adults in the other family and I becomes "friends" on MDE and "share photos," will all of their photos (regular photopass shots, magic shot, attractions, meals with photos, BBB) show up in my account? Do they have to do something special to make that happen? Will the attractions that take photos automatically know to capture their photos too? Thanks so much!!!

If they're on your Friends & Family list with share photos checked, you are good to go. The owner on the MM will need to do the photo editing (borders and such) and the downloading, so you might want to give them your id and password.

I also found if the other families' kids scanned their MB, the photos would not share to the MM. A phone call fixed this.

I have two questions.... One is are the photos from Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique included in the Memory Maker Pkg? The other is where on MDE should I see Memory Maker and how do I link those traveling with me. Oh one more question, if a child gas a photo op and the parent is not there will their band link to the Memory Maker?

I didn't expect a sort of Spanish Inquisition! Sorry, couldn't resist.

From my experience:

If you buy MM, you should see it in MDE under "Photography" (it will always be there, but before you buy it is a link to buy). if you did buy but don't see it, you can link it under PhotoPass.

Also under MDE, you should see your friends under "My Family & Friends" under "My Account." I believe you have to both have "This friend can view and purchase my PhotoPass photos" checked. This is under your friend and found by clicking "Edit."

If a child is alone, the family of that child will see the photos, but the others will not it seems. So if it is your child and you own the MM, you will see them. If it is one of your friend's child, then you may have to have to call of chat with PhotoPass to get them added to MM.
