If we stay offsite (we're not sure yet), what do we do about parking? Do we just drive to a park and let our vehicle sit there for the whole day, while we park-hop on disney transportation?

How do I know what the parking rates are?

Please excuse me if these are dumb questions, and thanks in advance!

Hi there. We are also planning the same thing. I know 2 years ago we were told that once you pay for parking at one park, you can drive to each park and not pay parking again. Just show your receipt that's dated that day. If this has changed, please let me know. I don't know if we can use the WDW transportation. If so, I would be interested in that. I've never done that.

Also, the rates has gone up. I think it is now $9 for parking.

Daily parking is $9 per car

As the previous poster said, you can then drive to another park without paying again.

You can also use WDW transportation to get to another park. There are dedicated no stop busses that travel between each park. The one exception is the monorail between Epcot and MK (TTC).

For traveling between MK and the other parks, the busses/monorail are located at the TTC. So if you are the MK and want to go to MGM (for example) you would need to take the express monorail to the TTC and then get on the MGM bus.
