i dont find the haunted mansion that scary
not even when i was little
idn, im weird

now that ive said that, something will probably happen to me when i go..

The "ring" was actually a piece from a pole they use to organize the lines. during the rehab it was paved over because they didnt use it. The castmembers just went along with the story of it. one of the Maids of the HM told us that.

i also heard someone tried to steal one of the breifcases in the attic once. they were caught and removed from the park.

Leota Tombs was a castmember that worked on the HM and died in her memory they made the moving tombstone that u see beofre u walk in today.

i love the Haunted Mansion i think its very cool and fasinating!

i have never had anything weird happen but im "friends" with a few of the castmembers and they have told me these stories

Nothing has happened to us, but my dad and I have a tendancy to scare little children xD
If we see that a CM isn't being "creepy" we take it upon ourselves to scare others hahaha.
We will casually stand behind people and whisper the words like the guy is saying it behind them. And we also SCREAM like so loud when it goes dark and we tap people.
It's hilarious. Thank God noone's ever gotten mad at us. Hahahaha.

But when we made a little girl cry, we kinda felt bad xD

There have been a couple weird/funny things on this ride. When I went to WDW last with my school band in April me and my friends went on it and me and my friend Brandon were in one car and our other friends were right in front of us. You know the part when the cars turn around you go backwards, well at that point Brandon leaned foward on hit the car in front of us where our friends were. Right at that second the ride stopped. For like 15 minutes. We were making fun of Brandon the whole rest of the trip that it was all his fault that the ride stopped. *of course it wasn't but he thought it was*

Then on a trip with my mom there was a FREAKY cast member in the beginning of the line right before you go inside. He was really tall and had this really gray wispy hair and a really skinny like sunken face. And as I was walking by he stared at me the whole time I was walking. I was so freaked but I was still laughing hysterically like I do when I get scared.

Good times, good times.

Can't say anything weird happened to me but I did something weird to a few of the CMs. Back in May the first time I went on it our guide was named Charlie, some short guy with glasses. I said HI to him but the entire time he was just staring foward rarely even blinking. I kept saying Hello to him but then I had to get on the ride. We went back on right after and I asked how his day was but he still didn't answer me

After that we went to the rest of the park but came back before closing to ride again. Being the weird person I am, I asked the CM at the entrance if he knew how Charlie was doing, he told me "he's doing...well". I found that odd since he worked at the Haunted Mansion. Because of this odd response every time I rode Haunted Mansion (probably like 10-15 times this trip) I would ask CMs how Charlie was doing or to say Hi to him for me.

My ghost was "sniffing" me but when I turned my head it looked like we were making out.

This was about...3 days ago.

It's not really a "haunted house". It's like...
Okay, you go through the pre-show (I don't want to give it away), then you get on the ride which is you go on the Doom-Buggy and it takes you around the mansion through "scary" stuff. That's actually not that scary.
There's only a few things that pop out, like around Halloween people put them in their yards sometimes. They just pop up then go down.
That's not a very good explination haaha. Someone help?!

haha the guy did that to me too! His name was Paul. I was probably bugging him because I was silently quoting every line of the ghost host thing, and I saw him sort of walk my way but didn't think anything of it. I turned around to leave the room and I saw him, said hi Paul! Grinned and left. haha for some reason it didn't scare me, but that's probably because he was cute

one time while me and my friend were on the Haunted Manson we had something like this happen. We were waiting by the door [[when yuu first go in]] and when the guy finally came out we were "talking" to him. every time we tried he just stared off into space barley blinking. we laughed and walked in. when we got to the stretching room my friend was laughing and i didnt kno why
when it was time to leave the room i turned around to face the door and the worker i was talking to outside was standing right there! it scared me but then i started laughing and he finally saidd... i don't think its funny to be trapped here. that kinda creeped me out but i love how CM really get into there characters!

While in the queue for HM last MNSSHP I ran into UtahMama. She is this really awesome DISer who writes amazing TR's. Anyways, her 17/18? year old son was all done up in this gross looking costume is blood and yucky stuff all over his face. Anyway, the entire time we were in the dark rooms we just stared at me and didn't blink.

Creeeeeeeped me out. It was like a 'you gotta be there' thing though.

no way! you have to go on it. this was the first time this has happened to me. and i go every year. so you def have to go on it. if you stand in the middle, they cant scare you.
