OK...I'm having a debate with my mother. When you go into the room in haunted mansion with all the pictures, are you really in an elevator, or do the walls just "stretch out?" :confused3
 
I think at WDW the wall go up and at DL you are on elevator. :goodvibes :wave2:
 
Depends on where you are... Walt Disney World (Florida) the room stretches (ceiling goes up, floor does not move)... Disneyland (California) is an elevator.

The reason is that at DL they had to accomodate for the train tracks so you are actually in an elevator. WDW wanted the same concept, but the actual elevator was not necessary.
