So now that we know we can't hold a Tiana's and HM VQ at the same time, I'm trying to figure out our plans for our trip in 2 weeks (since I'm in charge of 3 families happiness on this trip🤣) .
Can anyone comment on recent experience getting a HM VQ?
For the 7 am drops, what return times are typically happening? Mostly morning call backs?
At the noon drop, how far out have the call backs been? Hours later?
From what I've read, it seems the VQ window stays open for a while. Is that still the case? Or if I go for the noon drop, do I need to be on the ball right away tapping like a maniac (I've been trained well after many trips to WDW getting Guardians and Tron VQs)

Thanks for any input here!

I'm interested in this information too. Hopefully someone with experience will post to help us out.

There is so much info coming out today. Where did you read that you can't have both VQ at the same time?

We went last weekend for MK preview and were able to have both Tiana's and HMH VQ. We just had to sign up for them separately. Is that changing?

Below is a screenshot from the Disneyland website. It’s just as it was at WDW, you can only be in one virtual queue at a time ( except for you can be in a ride virtual queue and show virtual queue at the same time…. So Tiana’s and World of Color)
I know passholders have been able to be in both during previews… and again… the same situation happened at WDW a few months ago when Tiana’s opened and TRON was still in VQ. During previews, people could be in both, but once Tiana’s opened to the public, you had to choose between getting one or the other. Once you had been called for your virtual queue and tapped in, you could then get a VQ for the other ride. Just as the wording says… you can use one at a time. Now easier said than done, because depending on your callback time, if you grab Tiana’s at 7am, but don’t get called back until
into the afternoon, you’ll just have to hope there are still HM VQs there from the noon drop.

According to the website, you can use LLMP for Tiana's. HMH is only VQ.

Yep, same as WDW. From our experience there, both the VQs and LLMP sold out instantly everyday. I imagine it might not be as crazy at Disneyland in the colder months. Actually the LLMP sold out 7 days ahead since you can book them early there. So it will be interesting if the demand is the same on the west coast.
VQs fill up the stand by line and then LLMP goes in the lightning lane queue.

I was there a week ago. I entered the virtual queue at 7 am and our boarding group was at 11 am-ish. I was group 46.

I hope that helps!

Did you get group 46 at 7 am? I requested at 7:20 am today and got group 48.

I was there last week and joined the HM virtual queue each day at around 12:05-12:10pm. Each night I got called back shortly after fireworks, so the timing was perfect (for me at least - I think doing HM after dark is best so your eyes have adjusted and you can see everything better).
