Does anyone know any info on the the upgrades that were done to the ride because it is one of my favorites!

Just got Mousemail for passholders only. It starts to passholders only on September 14th. UNLESS (as with POTC)...has anyone got wind of a "soft" opening? We were the first boatload of non-castmembers to get onto the re-opening of POTC only because we read on Disboards that this may occur and hung around the front that Saturday morning and sure enough, the ropes were dropped. I wonder if this will happen for HM?!

I will be getting there 9/15 so I hope that there are no delays. This is one of my favorites and it is nice to see something different added.

Just looking at the Disney site and they say closed for refurbishment until Sept 12. I would take that to mean that it is open to public on the 13th.

Yes.

But in other cases, even with the times posted by Disney, the attractions have actually opened a week or so early.

But there is no indication that it will happen that way for HM this time.

In fact, the consistent report is that it may be tough to get it re-opened on the date promised.

Time will tell (and so will the posters here on the DIS, as soon as anyone sees signs of "ghostly disturbances" at HM.)

This isn't exactly true. The times listed in that email are for AP Priority Access, which basically means that AP holders will get "front of the line" access. HM will still be open to all guests during those times.

This is assuming that it opens on schedule on Sept. 13, of course.
