Haunted Mansion to scary???

My 3 and 5 year old rode it in January. My 5 year old is not scared of anything, but I was worried about my 3 year old, who tends to get frightened. He insisted he was brave enough to go so we gave it a shot, and he actually liked it! I think all the warnings we gave him ("Are you sure? It's pretty dark and scary!") actually had him prepared for much worse so it didn't scare him too much!

IMO - if your kids can handle the movie, they should have no problem with the ride.

We did the DL HM when my DS was 4 - he was scared spitless. It took him a couple more years to get the courage to go on it again. However, he is now 10 & DD is 9 & they now have no problem.

BUT - We went to see HM when it was in the movie theatres & DD STILL has nightmares. I just hope she is willing to go on the ride when we go back to WDW.
