Has anyone heard when the scrim/wrap is coming down? Just watched bigfatpanda's MNSSHP video with Madame Renata and she was out mingling with the guests rather than up on the front lawn because of the wrap. Thought they would have it down by the first party but no such luck. While great that Renata is out and about, not so great that the wrap is still up for the Halloween season.

It is my understanding that at DL the stretching room operates on an actual elevator and therefore must be operated with less people where at WDW the ceiling simply raises - thus no weight issues. This may be why they put fewer people in the stretching room at DL.

Yes that's right! I asked my disney engineer cousin that very question just a couple months ago!

I'm very curious about this one, too. I'm taking a dear friend on their first-ever MK visit in early October, and she's giddy over the prospect of experiencing HM. It won't be the end of the world if the scrim is still up, but the facade is an important part of getting the full HM effect.

I've gone to December 1st on MDE and Haunted Mansion isn't listed to be closed. Could these be true, or my wishful thinking? That's our MVMCP night and our favorite ride...

I've got MVMCP on December 2nd and will be in MK on the 3rd as well. I am hoping this will be open by then, as schedules, since this is one of my favorite attractions. I would also love to take my niece on the ride.
