Haunted Mansion Holidays coming to the Magic Kingdom?

I read on Screamscape.com that Haunted Mansion Holidays is rumored to arrive at the Magic Kingdom soon. Does anyone have more information?

If you're thinking of what they do in DL for WDW, I wouldn't hold my breath for this year.
In fact, I'm concerned that WDW may not host the 999 Happy Haunts Ball this year! ( a mercandise event that they've held for several years).

event services has already given the bad new that Happy Haunts is off this year. I think it was posted on the Disney Gallery site

Actually there has been a huge rumor circulating with supervisors and management at the magic kingdom concerning the haunted holiday coming to disney world due to the fact that Disneyland is celebrating it's 50th birthday and they don't wanna close down any rides at that park due to capacity problems they may face. Just something i've been hearing around.

I have read in the UOG (in a behind the scenes with Jim Hill segment) that Haunted Mansion is rumored to be getting the Holiday version in the fall of 2005, which would be this year . I hope so, but I am not a CM, and it did say RUMORED, so you never know. We are Disneyland veterans, and it is one of our favorite reasons to visit in the holiday seasons...it's awesome! Much more entertaining, and makes the HM less scary for little kids, too! We would be thrilled if we were able to see it when we go in December, so even though it is not for sure, reading about it makes me keep my fingers crossed!

No Happy Haunts this year - the CM's I talked to about it said Event Services is focusing on the 50th (did you see the awesome packages for that????)

Also, no HM Holidays as they want to preserve the original HM theme for the 50th. The folks I talked to had no idea about what would happen next year, but they were hopeful that there would be HMH & HH again due to the popularity of the events......

That is a bummer about HH. We love that.

Nothing at WDW - The packages are all DL. They look AWESOME...... If I hadn't splurged on Phineas last year.....

What is the happy haunts ball?? Is this something they do in Dec??

Happy Haunts Ball was held at WDW MK mid-week the last week of Oct. for the last three years. It is considered a merchandise event with three different levels (Phineas, Gus & Ezra). Due to the 50 year celebration, they aren't having it this year. I've attended every year but don't remember exactly how much the packages were. I seem to remember $3,000, $550 & around $200. I always enjoyed it as I love HM merchandise.

The Happy Holidays Event was held at DL the last four years (I think). It is always held around the 1st of Oct. when they re-open HM after redecorating it as Nightmare Before Christmas. They too offered different packages.

** It's been a hard ticketed event, held at the MK in WDW over the past 3 years that has focused on HM merchandise.

What do you get/do at it?
** depending on what package attendee's have purchased, it might have included attendence to a private night at MK with a buffet, merchandise, lectures and rides - or on the high end - the package might have inculded all of the above, plus a dinner hosted IN the Haunted Masion.

And the Holidays, is that the Nightmare Before Christmas themed stuff they do at DL?

**No it wasn't the same as DL -no NBC stuff, more like exclusive HM stuff

If you ever get a chance to go to the HHH do it! We saw it at DLR a couple of years ago, and I couldn't believe how cool it was
