Haunted Mansion getting Video for MM

So I don't think I saw this posted here yet but I heard yesterday Haunted Mansion will be getting a video option if you have Memory Maker and Magic Bands.

It will begin Dec. 2014.


Does anyone have more details on this? I understand the video for ToT but not so much for HM- where would you even video a reaction to anything?

It was on a Disney Blog- Top 5 things you didn't know about HM I think.

It was #1 on the list and the article made it sound like Dec. was a definite start date.

It's definitely closed 12/1-12/19 for refurbishment. They just haven't officially said anything about the ride photo.

I never understood why they didn't have a photo opp at the very least in the first place. Obviously the photo would take with the ghosts in your car. I love how they refurbed that.

I'm sure it's very simple for them to take a photo of you and photoshop in some ghosts.

The reason it's been so long coming, was that they were trying to find a way to take a good photo without ruining the ride experience/effects.

This is official the cast member told me when I booked my vacation. They are staring with tower of terror and then expanding to other rides!

I am excited about this! All the new Memory Maker stuff has been video and I bet this will be video of the end of the ride when you see the hitch hiking gohsts and they interact with you by moving your head around and other things.
