I am trying for the green car. and I stink at Ghosts! I can hold my own on fireworks but I definitely need help with Ghosts. Is there anyone who wants to play and help?

This is the quest they are referring to:

To get the Autopia Racing Magic Pin you need to complete this quest. To start go to the Autopia Quest Track room . You need to get close to the video game driving consoles to the left of the tranport tubes. Double click on the consoles.

There are four levels and you can get a Blue, Pink, Yellow and Green pin. Questions are all the same, but 2 of the tasks require you to play the Haunted Mansion and catch 10, 30, 45 and 85 ghosts. Fireworks Remix goals are 1,000, 1,400, 5,000 and 5,500 points. Green level also requires you to have Bat Magic. The Pink and Yellow quests were switched after the Fireworks Remix change. After completing the Blue car you might want to skip Yellow and do Pink first.

NOTICE:
I have reached the 85 ghosts three times and could not find the atoms at the monorail....so be sure you find a cheat or have someone tell you where the atoms are (it is timed) so you do not have to play ghosts over and over.

If I did get the the ghosts I cannot get the 5,500 fireworks score for the green car so I just have to face the facts that I will be green carless. I do not worry about it for myself any more thank goodness.

I would be more than happy to help if someone could tell me how it works because I really need help too getting 85 ghosts for the green car quest.. I got 75 one time not playing with friends so think I could get 85 with help!! I will be on VMK after 3pm pacific time

Here are a few tips to get the 85 ghosts for green car magic:

- Play alone on your team - have no other teammates.
- Find three people to play on the opposing team (can be done with a team of two experienced ghost hunters, but a team of three is best).
- Make sure these three people understand what you are doing and are willing to help.
- Be sure to have the task for catching ghosts activated before starting (saves much embarrassment later)!
- Play three rounds - the team that loses the first round needs to win the second round. It doesn't matter which team wins third round.
- Ideally, the opposing team should let you find the door first at the end of each round. This way you can get a head start in the next round.
- If you turn into a ghost, go directly to the nearest opponent so they can take the ghost off you. You lose 10 seconds of ghost hunting time when you are turned into a ghost.
- It's helpful if a person on the opposing team is your designated "follower" - always close by and ready to take ghosts off you.
- Don't waste time chasing down your opponents and taking ghosts off them. These catches DO NOT count toward your 85 ghost goal.
- The faster the ghosts are caught, the faster more ghosts are released from the coffins. You and your opponents can shake the coffins (press CTRL or SHIFT key while standing next to a coffin) to release more ghosts if needed.
- After you have finished the game and returned to the mansion lobby, DO NOT click next task yet. The next task requires you to use bat magic, so be sure you have it first.
- After the bat magic task, you will have to go to the Tomorrowland monorail station to find some well hidden atoms. These next tasks are timed, so be prepared. Check out Mal's players guide sticky for their locations.

Lauralee thanks for you great advice. I still wonder though if I can even get 85 ghosts. Just curious for those of you that have the green car, how many games of friendly HM did it take you? I don't want to impose on anyone and waste their time if I can't do it. Thanks

I had read up on where the hidden atoms were before I even started this quest. I need to do more research and write them down so I can find them all. I am prepared and I will finish this quest!
