Haunted Mansion Bug

Okay,when I got back from a long day of school,I was thinking of getting credits from the Haunted Mansion Game. Right when I started a game,I went back to the lobby! Anyone else have this bug?

i have not been able to play a single game of haunted mansion.

EVERY SINGLE TIME i play i crash, always in the first room, always about 2-3 minutes into the game. it's not the game that crashes, i dont get sent back to the lobby. Its vmk itself that crashes for me, and i have to log back in all over again.

seems there will be no new fun (or credits) for me.

I've had VMK crash several times but the most annoying is that I am playing the game, get into the 3rd level and get sent back to the lobby with no credits or anything. Seems to me that when I'm winning is when I get the boot! LOL

I'm using IE and hardly don't crash, so it might not be IE.

have not gotten in the mansion game with IE today yet, too busy building rivers lol. But i WAS usuing ie a lot today and overall vmk was much slower tonight with ie (although given that it is now down, that may have been vmk in general that was slower lol)

I will try with IE when it comes back up. Also i am thinking, much like pirates, that 3 on 3 or 2 on 2 will go much smoother for me than 4 on 4.

Well dude I crashed at the very end of our game and DID NOT get my credits .

Then I tried to play with Capecad and got boot back to the lobby with no controls at the bottom or way to talk!! Second time tonight that happened to me and I have to close out of the game completely and log back in - arg double arg!!

When that happens to me, I usually enter the tomb that leads to the stretching room, and then re-enter the Haunted Mansion. Not sure if the same remedy will work for you, but it usually works for me.

I played several times tonight with Firefox. I didn't crash during any game. (a lot of crashing on the Dis river though). But once I did experience the return to the lobby at the start of a game. And I was the one who started it. I was put back in the lobby, no start game buttons and no VMK buttons. I did as shadow said, went into the tomb, then back to the lobby and my buttons came back.

This has happened to me before. I joined a game and then it had the Enering Haunted Mansion Lobby loading screen and when i got there i couldnt chat, make a new game, join a game!

I typically use IE but only crash every once in a while. It doenst have anything much to do with the internet service you use, the crashing happens as a result of game glitches or errors. I am actually writing this because the initial post i thought was crazy, entering the game and going back to the lobby? yeah right! Well it just happened to ME! Its crazy, seems like a very infrequent glitch! I was sent back to the lobby and all of my control buttons at the bottom of the screen were gone too! So strange, like I was playing the game in the lobby! So it does happen!

Jackoman the same thing has been happening to me almost every time I play HM Game. Right when the game starts I get sent back to the lobby. (If I don't crash altogether that is) I have been able to play a few games succesfully today though, one of them I recieved 500 credits for my 10th victory! yay!

have not crashed in the HM game, using IE. VMK has been crashing more since Monday when everything came out but am being patient as they absorb all the new players and implement all the new goodies.

I have had this problem with the Pirates Game ever since early beta. I haven't been able to get past the first level of the first round, I always get sent back to the lobby when the first level of the first round ends.

If you figure out the problem for Haunted Mansion, please let me know because it might apply to my pirate's problem.

I'm using a Mac and have used the Safari, Firefox, IE and Netscape browsers with no success. At the very beginning of beta, I was able to play the game and get to the next level of the first round. The next thing that happened was I started getting the white "VMK crashed" box when I tried to play. The current behavior is much better but I still can't play the game.

Pirates used to do me that way, too. Then it got better, The fireworks however, still do. I'm only crashing on haunted mansion when the game has major problems, so far.

I've had this problem several times. I also have problems with not being able to move at all in the game or just crashing. This gets really annoying, especially after having to wait a while just to be able to attempt to play.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one! I thought it was just some weird thing that happened on my computer. This happened to me many times tonight as well as crashing now and then during a game. A few games were jumpy too. I hope they get the bugs worked out. It's such a fun game.

Glad to know I'm not the only one. Sometimes I get sent right back to the lobby before the game even starts with no tool bar. The game also likes to crash on me when I'm doing so well too! It's a conspiracy I tell ya!

I use IE to play VMK now ever since the whole Firefox debacle somehow seemed to affect my ability to use Netscape to play the game, which makes me mad because I hate Internet Exploder.
