Haunted Mansion after Christmas

When does the Haunted Mansion usually get back up and running in its original show after the Jack Skellington Holiday show?

IIRC, they opened back up on January 22 this year so it should be around the same time.

If the normal pattern holds. It will go down the Monday after New Years (1/4) and be back up by the Friday (1/15) two weeks later.

My guess -- and I could be completely wrong, of course -- is that Disneyland and California Adventure will stay in holiday season mode through January 6th, because it has become a tradition to end the season with the Three Kings Day event. Haunted Mansion Holiday will stay in holiday mode too, if that happens.

I think that this past January, Haunted Mansion Holiday stayed open a wee bit longer than usual, to accommodate the crowds heading to the parks for the debut of Frozen Fun (which was 1/7/15). So, in 2016, I'm not sure if Haunted Mansion Holiday would close down on January 7th (after Three Kings Day), which is a Thursday, or if it will stay open through that weekend and close on Monday, January 11th. Or, if the Three Kings Day celebration is skipped this time around, then Monday, 1/4 could be the closure date for HMH.

Whenever Haunted Mansion reopens, then It's a Small World Holiday will close soon after -- and that's usually after the MLK holiday, later in January.

HI guys just found this old thread and wondering if anyone has any updated dates for the holiday haunted mansion closure? My son loves this attraction and of course we are going on Jan 7, 2016!! I thought it would stay open through the weekend (1/10/16). Any hopes of that or should I ruin his trip and get him used to the idea now??

As Sherry E pointed out, last year many of the holiday offerings remained open through the weekend after the holiday season official ended, but that has not been the historical pattern. So at this point, we don't know if HMH will close on the 7th (the day after the holiday season official ends), remain open through the weekend, or something else. Unfortunately, it's probably not something we'll know until they start to populate the January operating calendar (usually somewhere around the 45-day or less mark).

I will look for the calendar about 45 days out and hope for the best. I hate when I don't research enough before making my plans! Either way it will be fun...I just hate to disappoint the kid!

We had a great time at Disneyland and wanted to report that the Haunter Mansion Holiday was open through the weekend (1/10/16 last day). My son was happy to ride it and we got to see the Hatbox ghost for the first time. He thought it was great!
