Haunted hay rides at FW--dates/times

Thanks for the info! Are these dates for 2006? I'm soooo tired of calling Fort Wilderness. If they're 2006 dates, it looks like we're going to miss it. Oh well! Something to put on my "someday" list.

I am just wondering where is the kennel at Ft. Wilderness? We won't have a car and wondered how to get the tickets? If we do get tickets where do you meet for the hayride? I am full of questions today.

The Fort Wilderness Kennels are at the front (main) entrance, where guests check in. it's a small building near the bus stop. the ride itself meets right by Trails End and Hoop de doo. I'm not sure myself the best way to get to the kennel to buy the tickets, but to get to the ride we are taking the boat from Widlerness Lodge. Going to have dinner at WCC. Any suggestions on the best way to get to the kennel from POFQ by bus?

Does anyone know if they are pretty consistent when they schedule these hayrides or does it vary from year to year and that is why everyone kept asking when the dates came out. It appears that they start the second week in October on Friday and Saturday and then continue on to Wednesday, Friday and Saturday until the end of October. We are looking at arriving the second week in October in 2007 but want to attend Mickey BBQ as well and didn't want to schedule that and find out we miss the hayride.
