Haunted hay rides at FW--dates/times

Does anyone know when they announce the dates and times for the Haunted Hayride at Fort Wilderness? We're going to MNSSHP on Oct 30 and want to do the hayride on Halloween. I know we have to get tickets the morning of the ride. just trying to work out dinner times with the ride times. I tried the Camping boards, but nothing new about it there either. Any help would be appreciated!

the haunted hayride is at Fort wilderness. i believe it is only around halloween time. you have to buy tickets the morning of the event at the pet kennel at fort wilderness. it is held after dark... starting aroung 7pm i think. the ride lasts around 30min. it tells the story of sleepy hollow... with a costumed storyteller and ends with a surprise( a little scary). it's a fun way to end Halloween night. I'm hoping someone knows when they will announce the dates of the ride. I'm trying to plan for diinner at WCC at Wilderness Lodge and then boat over for the hayride.

I'm waiting to hear something too! I was hoping they'd announce the dates already so I can make sure it doesn't conflict with our dining plans. We were at WDW last year around mid-October and they were having them. This year we're going early October and I'm keeping my fingers crossed they'll start around the same time as MNSSHP.

I called Fort Wilderness today. The Cast Member said they have not released the dates yet. But they expect to have them a month before...I guess I'll just have to call back every couple weeks and keep checking in.

I called again today. They didn't have the dates yet, but the cast member said they should have them soon. She also said that she thought they started around October 14th. If so, I'll miss it since I'm going the first week of October.
But I'll call again in another couple of weeks just to confirm. This was the one thing I really wanted to do this trip.

bumping again...... Anybody heard anything yet? I guess I should cool my jets and wait till MNSSHP starts. Does the Haunted hayride start the same time in Sept thru Halloween? This is the last detail I need to settle for my trip and obviously it's making me crazy?

I spoke with CM at the Kennel today. She said the dates are going to be released on Labor Day. Tickets will be on sale the day of the ride at the Kennel from 9:00 - 5:00. After 5:00, any tickets that are still available will be sold at the Hayride. I guess some information is better than none.
And the waiting goes on.....

Roam the woods of Fort Wilderness in your Haunted Wagon with a "Legend of Sleepy Hollow" theme.

Price:

$15.00 + tax for ages 10 and up

$10.00 + tax for ages 3 - 9

10/13, 14, 18, 20, 21, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31

Tickets will be sold on a first come first come basis at the Ft. Wilderness Kennel from 8:00am to 5:00pm on the date of the Hayride. When the day's allotment is sold out, a sign will be posted in the Parking Lot.

There will be 6 hayrides each evening. Depending on the time of sunset, Wishes, etc. the times will vary.

Thanks for the info! Are these dates for 2006? I'm soooo tired of calling Fort Wilderness. If they're 2006 dates, it looks like we're going to miss it. Oh well! Something to put on my "someday" list.
