Haunted Disney?

I just happened to come across this when doing a disney search and I thought I would share. I was wondering if anyone had heard any other stories?

"Disney World is haunted. Walt Disney himself is
seen walking main street near the Castle. The
Pirates ride is haunted by 'George'. Ask the workers
about him. If the workers don't say 'good morning'
or 'good night' to George ... the ride breaks down
unexplicably. Also, when the pirate ride goes past
the scene where everyone is in jail trying to get the
dog to bring them the key ... look at the door to the
left. If the door is open, then George is upset. If
it is closed, then he is fine and the workers said
'good morning' to him. Really.
The Haunted Mansion is really haunted. The reason
the Gypsy room is so loud is to drown out 'other' sounds
and voices that the workers heard while building the place.
Also, a little boy is seen near the exit. He wants out.
His parents had him cremated and they dropped the ashes
on the ride since it was his favorite when he was alive. "

If Walt is haunting anyplace, it would be DL, not here in FL, since this park wasn't built until after he died. I have never heard that POTC story, but again, that my be DL and not WDW.

You are right I would think it would be more likely at DL if anywhere at all. I just thought it was interesting and I thought I would share it.

There are alot of thread here at the Dis about George and other stories of hauntings at WDW. Last Halloween it was a blast to read all those threads. I think someone had posted all the links in one thread.

If anyone one knows where these threads are it would be cool to read prior to visiting in October. My son and I love the show Creepy Canada it is a show of the supposed Haunting grounds of Ghosts in Canada.

Here's a link to a site about "real" hauntings at the HM in DL.

I read today that some people say if you say george three times in the fire scene something will occur, also that if you say he is not real something will occur that day or the next day. Hmmmm might have to try those out.

Well George must have been upset when we were there in June because POTC broke down while we were riding, and we had to sit for quite a while before we could continue.

I have heard a story about the Haunted Mansion... if they don't place a rose either on top or in front of "Master Gracey's" tombstone then the ride doesn't work quite right that day.

I've heard about George before, and yes, it is the WDW attraction. In fact, one time we stopped for a short while (maybe only 1-2 minutes) on the ride, and when I got off I asked if George was acting up that day. The CM knew who I was talking about.

I've heard that if the door behind the dog in the jail scene is open, the CMs have to make sure it's shut or George will stop the ride. There's also supposed to be George's Window somewhere in the fire scene, but I don't know which one it is.

Walt's ashes are not in the Haunted Mansion - they were in Lillian's house on their mantle - now I'm sure they've stayed with the family.

the OP actually meant that a little boys ashes are in the HM -

Walt's ashes are actually at a cemetary in CA
