Haunted Carriage Ride

Does anyone know if the Haunted Carriage Ride is still open? I keep finding old pages but nothing new. Or am I still too early as it's more than six months before they start doing it? If so, sorry to bother you. Thank you.

As far as I know they are still doing it, we went on it last October and the Cm who worked there said that it's really popular so I can't imagine they would cancel it. They probably just haven't done the scheduling for it yet since it's more than six months out. But I highly recommend it!!

Heres some info, but I'm not sure if the info is current for this year:

Roam the woods of Fort Wilderness on a 25-minute Haunted Carriage Ride while hearing the "Legend of Sleepy Hollow."

Can accommodate 4 adults or 2 adults with 3 children ages 9 and under.

Price: $60 per carriage

October 1- November 1, 2010
Rides at 7:30, 8:00, 8:30, 9:00, 9:30, 10:00 , 10:30 PM


Three carriages available for each ride time.

This ride leaves from the front of Pioneer Hall at Fort Wilderness.

This excursion can be booked up to 180 days in advance by calling 407-WDW-PLAY.

From my personal experience: last october they actually offered 4 carriages on some nights to accomodate the amount of families. The campgrounds themselves are really cool to visit in general because the people who set up camp there put up all kinds of lawn decorations and lights and really get into the halloween spirit. To get to the carriage ride itself is kind of confusing to get to because the campgrounds are sooooo big but it's back by the hoop-dee-doo revue and the horse stables (you can stop in and visit the ponies that pull cinderella's coach ). It is a lot of fun but book your reservations in advance, we only got our carriage ride due to an error on disney's part so we got our ride for free

I was so excited when I stumbled across the carriage thing. I've always loved Halloween so this is the cherry on top of the cake!
