Haunted Carriage Ride?

I saw this mentioned in another post & had never heard of it.....what is the Huanted Carriage Ride? Where? How much?

You may have been looking at my previous post. The carriage ride is held at Wilderness Campgrounds. The carriage holds 4 adults or two adults and three children and the cost is $60. The "ride" takes 45 minutes into the trails at the campgrounds and as it was last year, the storyline this year is the Legend of Sleeping Hollow. My DH is a big headless horseman fan so this was right up his alley. You have a driver but the the story is pre-recorded. It's realy fun. You cut through the campgrounds and it is amazing how the sites are all decorated by guests and then you go into the trails. I called 407-WDW-PLAY to make my reservations again for this year. The last night is 11/1 but I am not sure the date that they begin. Rides start at 7:30 and run every half hour. If you have little ones they may be a little scared since you are riding through dark trails and there is an appearance at the end by the headless horseman. Even though it's the same story we had a great time last year so we re-booked. The departure area is over by the stables and you are dropped off by Crockett's Tavern.

Ah! Sounds cool!! My guys are 13 & 12....are they too old for this? Is the story scary enough for that age group or would this be too lame?

Your guys are not too old for this!! The only thing is that you are in the woods in the dark and at the end the headless horseman comes out from no where, circling your carriage and "escorting you to the bridge" which he, according to the Legend of Sleepy Hollow" he cannot cross.

This sounds great! What if there are only two of us? Will we have to share the carriage with other people?
