Hat Embroidery...

I have a quick question about having names embroidered on Mickey ears that I bought at the Disney Outlet...Probably last years Xmas ears (they have antlers....so cute) Does anyone know if we can still get names put on these hats, even tho we did not buy them in the park?

I've gone in with ears that were a gift (I didn't buy them myself) and asked them to do it, so maybe? Depends on who you get and how long the line is.

The CMs know they are ears that were sold in the park at one time, so my thought is that there's nothing to lose by asking.

When I was there I overheard a CM tell a customer that they can do it if you have a receipt.

I recently tried this with some YOAMD Mickey ears I purchased at the outlet store. I was told that because they were no longer for sale in the park, they couldn't embroider them (even though I had a receipt). I was pretty disappointed because I was planning on giving them as gifts at our Disneyland family reunion this Christmas. Guess I have to come up with another idea!

That's too bad...Maybe I can find someplace to do it before I go....
