I was just wondering if any other states have not received the H1N1 vaccinations yet.

Mississippi still has yet to receive it's first batch of vaccinations and I'm hoping we get it in soon.

I assume so...

Our local health department had a clinic today where they were giving the H1N1 to pregnant ladies and children, first come first serve.

They have been a couple of flu chaos clinics around here in the suburbs of D.C. All I can say is if you plan to have the shot is to get there early! The news has everyone so freaked out people were lined up hours and hours and hours before the clinic even opened. It looked like the lines for walmart on Black Friday.

I watched CNN and saw the lines of people in Maryland tring to get their H1N1 vaccinations at their local health department and they ran out sending 100s of people home to wait for their next batch.

I'm frustrated that we haven't even received our 1st shipment of vaccinations as of yet.

I hear you.:thumbsup2 I've seen the pictures of people waiting in long lines trying to get their vaccinations without any luck, even after being in line all night.

We got some but not nearly enough and they are only doing the young right now.

I heard of one county in SOuthern Jersey having them, but our area has none with no idea of when we are getting them.

It's crazy. I don't even worry about it anymore because I know the odds of me finding one are slim to none. I definitely fit their category of people that need it, too... 22, primary caregiver to someone under 6 months. I also have to spend a few hours a week at a local elementary school observing for my degree. :sad2:

I've been frustrated because I can't find a seasonal flu shot for myself. My DH is a federal employee and he got the seasonal and will get the H1N1 through work but I can't find anything for myself. Lucas is too little to get one so his pediatrician told me I NEEDED to get one but I can't find anywhere that has them. :headache:

I've spent a few days frustrated to death because of it but now I've given up and just hope we get through OK.

Orlando International Airport (MCO) Solantic Clinic: Main Terminal and Terminal B across from Disney store, pre-security. Daily, 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. (321) 319 0349;

They have the H1N1 "mist" available..

According to CDC NJ has gotten a number of shots but I can't find it anywhere. If I call my dr one more time to ask they might just shoot me through the phone.

I've only heard about the mist in our area of NY - not the "shots" - and even the mist is in very short supply..

Seasonal flu shots are pretty much a thing of the past around here..

Florida has. I'm all set to receive mine on October 31st. Trick or treat.

The seasonal flu shot is the elusive one around here. As of now, I'd have to drive an hour away to get it.

Some counties have received them in FL, others have not. Ours received a limited supply and it out at this point. My kids were able to get H1N1 vaccine at our Dr's office this past week. They did not have seasonal anymore, but we already got that anyway.

Here in central IL, we had our first clinic last week, 2,000 shots available. They quickly ran out. They are having another, but I am debating going. I have class and can't get there until half-way through the clinic. It seems pointless.

Piecey, please don't give up looking for your shots. Have you tried your local Walgreens or CVS for the seasonal flu shot?

I bought my seasonal flu shot and pnuemonia shot at Walgreens about a month ago.

I called every CVS/Walgreens/Rite Aid/Grocery Story/Local pharmacy within a 45mile radius.

Nothing. :headache:

Our walgreens said they would vacinate DD17 with a parent present for consent. DH took her up there and they wouldn't do it for anybody under 18. Apparently they gave me the wrong info on the phone. DH did get his shot though. This was for the regular vaccine though, not the H1N1. they're going to give all the highschool and middle school students in our county the h1n1 at school for free. Yay! Finally ended up getting DD17 her vaccine from the peds office.

Point of my post: I don't believe that Walgreens will do anybody under 18 even if they say they will on the phone, because they wouldn't for us. This was in FL
