Has your dog ever (inspired by JVAS)

pottied on your bed? We adopted a beautiful, black 1 1/2 yr old Belgian shepherd in July...allegedly housebroke. She's finally housebroke except that sometimes she will jump up and pee on DD bed! Or on a doggie bed we put on the floor for her, or on a pile of sheets left on the floor - sorted for laundery . I don't understand what's going on inside her doggie head. This doesn't happen all the time, possibly because we quit leaving things like that on the floor, and have to shut DD bedroom door when we're not home. Has anyone else experienced this?

My cat liked to urinate on clothes that were on the floor in the laundry room, waiting to be laundered. She didn't "go" other places around the house, but for some reason liked those piles of clothes. She didn't do it all the time, just occasionally, and I never did figure out why she would do it. Hopefully someone else will have an answer for you here.

YUP!
Alpha Male Sib. Husky used to "mark" on DS's bed. We had him neutered and that pretty much calmed him down, but he still fights for position with DS in the Family Pack.
Interesting that your female is terrorizing you DD's room. Alpha Female?

7mo. old Jake had his favorite spot in the living room before he was housebroken. In fact once he stood three feet away from me, looked me in the eye and went. Installing a doggie door seems to have solved our problem, but I still go check that spot every few weeks!

YES! I have 4 dogs, 2 are only 11 months old. The girl puppy pees on MY and dh bed every once in a while and I think I figured out the reason! I think she does it when she is mad at me! The last time she did it was on Christmas Day and we had been gone all day. When I got home I was relaxing watching tv on my bed with her and she got up and pee'd right in front of me! I think she was mad at me for being gone so long! (I'm normally home all day) I've spent a fortune lately getting my comforter dry cleaned, grrrr!
