Just wondering if there have been issues with Universal hitting capacity lately ? Going in July so trying to figure out what to expect.

I have been here since Tuesday… afaik they have not hit capacity at all this week…. Maybe Thursday at IOA since Velocicoaster opened, but I don’t think so. Someone can correct me if I am wrong.

Haven't heard of it hitting capacity since few days during Spring Break. Seems that the capacity restrictions have gone up, or maybe don't exist anymore. Don't think they are required to announce any changes. Seen a lot of crowds in photos that seem as busy as it was when went before pandemic.

We were there all this past week (came home today) and it never hit capacity. Seems like that is something they’ve maybe phased out as they’ve lifted masking/distancing requirements. Lines were full, rides cars were filled to capacity, and Wizarding World was elbow-to-elbow. We only did EE one day and the rest of the week just moseyed in whenever we got going.

I dont think they're hitting capacity, but the lack of staffing, especially in restaurants, makes it seem busier than it really is.

Make no mistake though...it's pretty busy.

We were there 6/5-6/10 and it was SO busy!!! Reminds me of our spring break trip in 2019. I'm really hoping it dies down a bit for our fall trip.

When we were at VB on 6/10 I heard it was at capacity. Plenty of families roaming around looking for chairs. We were there for early entry and picked a great spot with umbrella and trees for shade most of the day. Other parks were crowded enough 6/8-6/11 to have lines extend outside in the heat for both food and most rides. We had EP and even those lines were longer than we thought they'd be. It is definitely crowded. Bright side was we got to see the preshow for Gringotts, and the elevators were going on our third day riding.

I'm SO glad the elevators are back for Gringott's - I really missed them when we visited last August & this May - can't wait for our Christmas trip :)!

If we leave the parks to eat lunch at City Walk, is there a chance we might have a wait to get back in (because of capacity issues)?

Does the Express line bypass the elevator/preshow? We’re headed for our first “normal” trip in October and staying at RPR. First experience was spoiling last August, but we missed all of the preshows, and would like to experience at least this one if at all possible. Any others we should look out for that we might have missed during that initial reopening time frame?
