I love the decore of this restaurant, but we ate there in 2009 and it was just inedible. We had the spaghetti and meatballs and the chicken parm at lunch, and it was the WORST meal, I have ever had on property. Even the crostini they served, was so hard, I couldn't bite it with my teeth. We would have needed a hammer, to break a peice off. I wish I were exaggerating. I really want this restaurant to be good, I think its adorable and has such potential.

Anyone recently go and has it improved?

We were there twice this past May. My family and I really liked it - granted it's not the best italian food you're going to eat but the food was good.
I would go back and give it another try.

I wanted to ask for opinions before I asked my bf to go back. We normally give things another try, but our experience was the WORST food either he or I, had ever experienced either on or off site.

Thank you for your response, maybe we will be open minded and try one more time!

I really like Tony's. I've been there in 2002, 2006, recently 2010.

It seems that Tony's and Le Cellier have the most Hate it/ Love it/ Like it posts. You'll get them all!! SO who do you rely on......... yourself. If you really want to go again, try lunchtime at least it'll be a little cheaper. If you're on the free DP try anytime;)

We ate there for the 1st time last month and I wasn't too impressed. It wasn't horrible, but not the best food in my opinion! We did walk right up and was seated as a walk-in.

I kind of have my own love/hate relationship with Tony's. As far as atmosphere goes, it's absolutely one of my favorite restaurants on property. There's just something very "Disney" about the place.

The food, on the other hand, can be disappointing if you're expecting something spectacular. Granted, I've never had an awful meal there, but I've never been overly thrilled either. It sounds like you just got really unlucky and had the occasional "BAD" meal that will, every so often, pop out of any restaurant's kitchen. So while I hesitate to say that the restaurant as a whole has "improved", I would be willing to bet that if you went back you'd have a better experience.

If you do decide to go back, try the calamari appetizer - that is one thing they tend to do very well.

We ate there in May and the food was not too bad. The kids really liked their meals and the salad I had as an entree was excellent. My husband had the chicken parm and he was not all that impressed. I would pick something a little off the wall to try there, not Italian. Their main dishes are subpar, but their unique dishes seem to be really good.

I went there for dinner this past August and thought their food was good. Now it was also the 1st time I ever went there so I am not sure how it was prior to August 2010.

we were there a few years ago and it was not good at all... neither the food nor the service... it was one of our worst experiences w/ds' food allergies (peanuts/tree nuts)...

but! i so want to like it... the location is excellent, there are so few ts restaurants in the mk, that i need it to be good, but i just cannot get my family back there... maybe in the spring...

We went in October and while the food was ok, it was the worst food of the trip. And the service was rushed. Way too efficient for ouyr liking. We both had the chicken parm and both tought it was bland. The sauce tasted nothing, the pasta was overcooked and the chicken, not very fresh. We tought that the chicken parm we had in June at Everything Pop was much better. On the other hand, we both really enjoyed the pumkin cheesecake we shared for dessert. Overall, we tought the food was ok, it was not an horrible experience, but we're not in a hurry to ever go back.

We went on Nov 30th for supper as my DH wanted to try this place. It was awful...the food was blah and the service was so-so. Tony's was placed on the Never Again list for us.

Both times I've been it has been very sub par. Not inedible, but at best I would call it mediocre.
