Has this stitch thing taken over the world?????

I think they try to appeal to the majority. My son absolutely loves stitch! I love that there is so much with him because quite frankly he doesn't really get the whole princess thing. He just rolls his little eyes and says "Mom those are for girls!" I love that there are more boy oriented characters like buzz and stitch. It kind of evens the playing field, if you will. Just my opinion! princess: :wizard: pirate:

I like Stitch and am glad to see him everywhere. Quite frankly I am burnt out on the princesses, talk about overexposed!! My dd and nieces are 11 - 16 and they are very much out of the princess stage. But they like Stitch!!

Stitch was even in the bathroom in tomorrowland! I opened the door and his little voice came over the speaker!

Oh, you missed one! There is also a very large inflatable Stitch next to Once Upon a Toy at Downtown Disney, too!

Personally, I love  Stitch, so I have no problem with it, whatsoever! Can't wait to stay in a Disney resort again to get the wakeup call!!! How cool!!! :cool1:

Loved the opening day of Stitch Escape.... the castle toilet papered, the Most Wanted posters. WDW did it up RIGHT!

Also, many of the characters someone else mentioned about being more popular than Stitch are not only owned by Disney, but by Pixar, as well! Stitch is the most beloved DISNEY character is quite a long time! He deserves the fanfare! And he appeals to boys, something that is sorely lacking.

My hope is that they replace the Mickey Aloha breakfast at the Polynesian with Lilo and Stitch... that would be THE BEST!!!!! :rockband:

Is he really still doing the wake up calls? My 8 year old is a Stitch FREAK!! Totally talks like him around the house any everything. My son says he can't wear Disney clothes to school or he will get made fun of UNLESS they are Mickey or Stitch. Every boy in his class loves the little guy! I have to agree with the other posters that have boys, I am about sick of the Princesses getting so much darn attention. It sure is nice to see some attention going towards the boys for once. We go to WDW and the only character meal choices are Chef Mickeys, Donald's and if we can get there Goofy's at the BC. My son is DYING to ride the Stitch and even if my DH hate it he will love it no matter how dumb it is. He almost had a heart attack when I told him the rumor of it being closed in January to redo it. Seriously I was worried. He will be so happy to see all of the Stitch stuff, and hear his voice all of WDW in a couple of weeks! If Stitch calls him I think he might just faint!! I have to know if he is still doing the calls!!
