I went to use the free dining pin I had recieved back in july becasue I am adding a day but the public offer has that day as a black out day. So I called to try to use the pin and first the cm tells me its expired I tell her no it hasnt then she tells me its for a different family I tell her no its my DHs then she tells me the problem is POP is nothing available for that pin for that time period I tell her I can book it online right now it says POP does indeed have availabilty with that pin then she tells me I should just book online then cause she cant figure it out. Im like umm hello my trip is pretty much paid for I would need my money back first!! Shes trying to tell me its an online deal only! Im like umm hello I know alot of people (on DIS lol) that recieved this pin code and its not an online only promotion. Its the goofy pin code. The email says book online or call. Then she trys to tell me its only for MODs Im like no lady it clearly says value in the email. What do I do???? Has anyone had problems using the FD code with goofy on it?? Do You think if I call back and talk to someone else I wont get as many issues?TIA
 
1. If you have already started the process and are just adding one day this should be no problem. Most all of the offers state that as long as the trip starts before the blackout dates then you can get the Dining Plan for your entire trip.

2. Try calling back again. You will most likely get a different CM, who will hopefullly be able to add the one day for you. If they still have trouble and got through that same list to deny you, then ask to speak with a supervisor.
 
call back to get a different CM. Some are just better than others at navigating the system it appears. I have had similar problems in the past.
 
The CM seemed kinda clueless! She tried to tell me that you cant book online with a pin. I told her the link it right in the email trust me you can! Im going to try to call now and see if I get a more informed CM!! I really hope so! It took me about 40 min last night for her to finally tell me just to book online!
 

:love:yay i finally got an informed CM! She did it ALL in 20 min or so! She even took care of my new flight info cancelled my room only ressie I had booked for one night and did it all to my moms ressies too! She was awesome1 I guess giving up on one cm and calling another really works!!!! Im so happy !
