Has this happened to anyone else?

I called the other day because I changed my reservations and I never got a new confirmation. Well the CM seemed to keep me on the phone forever. Then when I thaught we were about done he said "Oh, just one more thing..." then he was asking me how many times ive been to disney and stuff. Are they doing this with everybody? It jsut seemed weird to me the way he did it. It was like he was in the middle of giving me all my resv. info and then he stopped in the middle for a little survey kinda thing. I was just wondering if this happened with anybody else cuz i thaught it was odd.

I've never had that happen. If he was doing any kind of polling, I hope it was on Disney's dime (800 #).

Hmmmm interesting!!! Ted had a situation like that last fall! We just assumed she was making conversation. I bet there IS a survey!

I have had that happen to me many times. Even when I tell them I am a frequent visitor they insist on telling me about new attractions or services they are offering. I am not sure if they are trying to keep the visitors informed, so they don't feel overwhelmed, or if they do it to try to get you to (possibly) book a longer stay or book more events.

Could it be his computer was slow and he was just making small talk??
That has happened to me alot. Seems like we are just moving along with the ressie....then he starts asking questions. But then some times he will comment "boy the computer is slow today......so.....how many times have you been down here?..........or.......what park is your favorite?....etc."
